Hotel Riu Paraiso Lanzarote - All Inclusive

We booked the Riu for a one night extension and found the hotel, staff and facilities of an excellent standard! Will certainly look to book for a full vacation this summer ☺️

Another stay at this great hotel. Meal times could be a little noisy but plenty of food. Standards of cleaning were excellent. The animation team were great and my daughter loved Lucy and Martin! He was there last time we came so she was made up to see him again! We stayed in 219 above the theatre, the balcony was lovely and private with sun all afternoon! Beach right across the road and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby if you fancied a change of scenery. Will shall be back again soon!

We travelled with a group of four friends. Front of house went beyond our expectations to make my wife's "big" birthday a very special occasion. The rooms are clean and tidy, buffet food is excellent, the all inclusive drinks are OK. All in all a fantastic hotel that we will be visiting again in the future. 5 star.

We were really impressed with the Riu Paradiso. Without exception, all the ents staff were cheerful and welcoming and all the hotel staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms were spacious, immaculate and well-cleaned, as was the hotel throughout. We had booked two twin rooms but had a twin and a king-size double. We asked about changing the double for a twin, but it would have mean moving to a different part of the hotel, so we compromised with single sheets - which worked out fine. There's plenty of sun loungers and shade, pools were a good size if no more than 1.1m deep. Even going down after breakfast (around 9:30) we had options of four loungers together. Breakfast seemed busiest at 9:30, 8:30 was best for us. Location is good, across the road from the beach, the 03 bus leaves from close by and goes to Arrecife, a taxi from Arrecife back (for 4) was €17. It's a short walk to the nearby shops and bars, but with all inclusive we didn't feel the need to eat out. All inclusive was great, food was varied and good, plenty of options for all (although dessert options for dairy free was either jelly or fruit). Lots of salad options. We tried the two themed restaurants, the Canarian had a good selection the Asian less so for non fish eaters, and dessert options were fewer than the main restaurant. Drinks were plentiful from the bar or the machines. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

First impressions of the hotel were very welcoming. All reception staff are helpful and easy to understand. We did have to wait around 2 hours for our room to be ready and cleaned but during this time there is a luggage room to store any baggage as well as the option to have drinks/ food or go to the pool. Our Room was very clean and spacious and we both found the bed comfortable. The main restaurant had great food. Theres always plenty of food and something for everyone to enjoy. Waiters are so lovely and always welcomed us with a smile. They are very quick to come to your table and offer a drink as well. Drinks really disappointed us. We were really looking forward to drinking cocktails but we both found the cocktails didn’t taste very nice. I also didn’t think there was much selection of cocktails. All cocktails are all also made from the machine so not hand made. Me and my partner mainly drank other drinks made by the lovely bar staff. All the other fizzy drinks were very nice and refreshing. The Pool was lovely. There are three main pools but we chose to stay to one. We always got a sun-bed and never had any issues with this. All pools are very clean and there is plenty of shade and umbrellas. There is also activities like aqua fit in the other pool. By the pool, there is a snack bar, where you can help yourself to food. We found this great especially between meals. The hotels entertainment was excellent! We loved going to the show every night. All entertainment staff are lovely and amazing at what they do. There is also a live singer most nights where the bar is. This was also really good and got everyone up and dancing. We were really impressed with how friendly all the staff were. Every staff member was very smiley and very polite and friendly. They would always say hello when walking past which we found extremely welcoming. There is a shop on site that has snacks and any other necessities. The hotel is very local to the beach and either side of the hotel is plenty of gift shops, bars and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to others as it was a great stay!
