Alpenhorn is dated, but the location is good. Close to the town center and lake. Fine if you’re just looking for a place to stay going to and from Milford Sound.

Location is great for those who simply require a base in Te Anau to explore the surroundings.
The place is old, and cleanliness leaves much to be desired.
However, it is very convenient, and serves its purpose.
