This hotel is not recommended: 1. As a hotel located in Ti'anau, the entire hotel has more than ten parking spaces. The parking spaces have to be grabbed. I don't know if I thought it was in Queenstown. 2. The door lock is very old and difficult to open. At the beginning, I couldn't open the door after taking the key. I must open the lock at the same time + the door to push inside to open it. 3. The price is not cheap, the price is more than 900, the village inn next door is less than 800, and the so-called lake view room is also covered by the roof on the first floor of their house.

Outstanding
GGuest UserThis is a great motel, with a great location, right by the lake, and only a 5-minute walk to the tourist center. The front desk service was very good, and they enthusiastically recommended restaurants and entertainment in the town. The room and the living room are not very big, but the layout is reasonable, very clean, and all kinds of facilities are available. There are two small suggestions. One is that there is only one trash can, and you can put one in the living room; the other is that the bedding and mattresses can be reduced appropriately. There were too many extra bedding and mattresses on the first night.
GGuest UserWe had two elderly people in the room when the electricity went out city -wide and it would've been safer if the hotel operators provided flashlights but they only had candles when we walked in the dark to the reception to ask for help. Overall it was clean and the kitchen had basic cooking supplies, but no dishwasher and no oven.
GGuest UserIt was said that my boyfriend had missing a camera tripod and the hotel staff was kind and quick to help me deliver it to my final accommodation. Very grateful🫶🏻
GGuest UserExcept that the bath water is a bit small and the water temperature is a bit low for those who take a shower later. Good in all other aspects
Llizzier_YUEThe rooms are quite big, the view from the living room and the master bedroom is nice, the sanitation is OK when I checked in, there are no big complaints, the facilities are not very new, and the decoration is the normal level of a motel.
No one cleaned the room for two consecutive days, and no towels were replenished, which is a bit unacceptable. Except for check-in/out, I didn't see anyone, so there is no good service to comment.
If you don't have high requirements for accommodation, you can choose it.
CChengKiatThe staff are generally friendly however the service is not up to expectation. We are suppose to checkin at 2/3pm, and had a confirmation called from the hotel in the morning. However, when I arrived at 4pm, I was told that it’s not ready and they need till 5:30pm to have the room ready. The place was under renovation and it’s messy and dusty, but the room is nice and clean. Overall it’s good with nice view.
MMingNgExcellent location, clean and hygienic, complete air conditioning and heating
The space is also large enough. There is no layering outside the parking door.
The shared factory building is large enough and has plenty of cooking equipment.
There are two washing machines and dryers (charges apply)
A five-minute walk to the city center
You can walk to the supermarket within ten minutes
Highly recommended whether visiting Te Anau or going to Milford Sound
High cost performance
SSHUYIBecause this brand hotel selected in Wanaka was very satisfied, I chose this brand in Te Anau. Very good location, on the edge of Lake Te Anau, very close to the Firefly Cave, 5 minutes to the supermarket; the room is large, clean, can sleep 6 people, pre-heated, rice cooker and hot pot, is the facility A little old, one room has electric blankets, the other is not; the toilet is a hard wound. In the middle of the two rooms, the sound of the toilet is very large, and the whole house will wake up. There are two cats in the yard, not afraid of people, will take the initiative to get close to you.
AAgnes1111Kitchen utensils are all available, including multi-terrain stoves, microwave ovens, and cooking utensils. It is also very clean and cost-effective. There is a supermarket nearby, which is great.
GGuest UserAlpenhorn is dated, but the location is good. Close to the town center and lake. Fine if you’re just looking for a place to stay going to and from Milford Sound.
