Location was fabulous after a full day at Milford Sound, so peaceful. The room was perfect for our family, great amenities, comfy beds and the room was lovely and warm. Check in and check out was super easy.

The location good after a day at the 'Pound' love warm cabin with all the necessities. Book in great. Not a complaint.

Great, simple and quiet campground with all unpowered sites. There hot showers, clean kitchen + bathroom and wifi access. Staff were helpful and provided great advice on how to safely get to Milford Sound as well as what to see on the area. Would recommend if you are due for a nice shower and a warm/cozy camp meal.

This location is a convenient overnight stay on the way to Milton Sound. I guess that this is all it plans to be. It is right beside the large public toilet block for the buses. But $70 for two campers is pricey and only one shower for the whole campsite in the unisex toilets is a bit frugal. Also understand the camp is right beside a helipad so don’t plan to be there during the day as you will be treated to a constant thud of helicopter tours. So plan to arrive late and leave early. But I guess that is the sound of money in NZ tourism. Watch out for noise pollution in the tourist areas.

Amazing view, everything we needed, close to Milford sound. Friendly and helpful staff.

Highly overprized. The camp site had little to offer. With the same (or less) money we got so much better facilities in other camp sites on New Zealand. Recommend to stay in a free camp on way to Milford Sound.

Great place to stay. Quiet, warm and comfortable, well appointed with helpful onsite staff. Views beyond the main road, as you’d expect, to die for.. The drive to Milford was a holiday highlight for us.. Lots of bird life

We loved staying here. We were 2 couples and had cabins next to each other. The cabins were clean and cozy with enough cooking facilities to self cater (all gas so no microwave). The views were beautiful and we sat between the cabins in the afternoon sunshine. The 4 of us dined inside together (a bit cozy but do-able). It was 1 hr drive to Milford Sound so we went there twice - did kayaking, cruise, and 11km of Milford Track. We got the full experience and didn’t feel rushed.

Such an awesome, cathartic place to stay Also allows for easier access to all the walks and sights! Great cabin, comfortable bed and excellent shower. Would recommend and would stay again!
