To get to this location you have to take a shared van or a private van (which can get very expensive). This hotel is based in TayTay and is about an hour drive away from El Nido. If you and a loved one or family would like a nice quiet, relaxing place to stay during your holiday this would be a prefect place to stay. The security guard is so lovely, friendly and very welcoming from the minute you arrive. The rest of the staff is so helpful and willing to support and help wherever they can support. The main owner is so welcoming and has just such a positive vibe and energy.

Great place! Thank you for your help in all matters to Sergey! The room offers a magnificent view of the sea with sunsets and sunrises, a very comfortable stay! Sap boards with masks and flippers are offered, you can go on an excellent snorkeling trip and get a good workout along the way) There is only one recommendation for the kitchen To diversify the dishes and bring them to perfection, I want more skill from the cook in such a place. Be sure to visit this resort!

This unique and beautiful hotel was a great discovery, the staff made us feel at home with stunning views. The food was very good also. They organized a personal island tour for just us with a lovely lady (Lenny) that made this snorkeling trip memorable. The rooms were modern with a great view of the ocean. What a memorable experience. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

To start off, the resort is beautiful with a lot of greenery. The pool and access to the beach were great amenities. We each had two massages that were both great. Staff is very friendly and professional; however, there is not much they can do with the deficiencies of the resort. For this price point, the menu for lunch/dinner is extensive; however, half of the items are never available. As far as seafood goes, only grouper and tuna; after a couple of days, this gets boring. No meat items are available; no pork chops were ever available. Sparkling water is on the menu but never available. They offered soda water the first day; however, by the third day, it was no longer available. Knowing that we are staying 5 days at the resort and ordering sparkling water for lunch and dinner, this should have been taken care of. The wine list has five red wines and two white wines, which they only had available: one red and one white from the same winemaker. Cocktails are basic and seem like they make them with bottled mixes, not prepared from scratch. The villa is beautiful, but it does not match the quality of the food in general. I agree with another review I read about the smell of mold. When we arrived to check in, it was early, and they offered to put us in a villa for a few hours until our pool villa was ready; this was a nice touch; however, we could barely rest because the smell of mold was very intense, and we felt nauseous. We asked for our room to be made one day, and they never showed up. Also, there is no shower gel, only shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast served in our room was convenient, but the food is very basic, and they charge for every single extra, even a single egg. The full presentation and quality are like a cafeteria, not at resort level. No yogurt is available, as mentioned by other guest reviews; no cereal either. The breakfast plates and tray are never picked up by staff; they sit in the terrace all day. Staff is friendly, but they need better training at this price point. At this price point, there are other better accommodations in El Nido, which has great restaurants and other services. This hotel is 1 hour from El Nido, and there are no other restaurants or anything else to do nearby; the only food available is onsite. I would not be this critical if I were paying less; however, we chose this hotel because of the price point, which is quite high, and what they promote on hotel booking sites. We expected much better food and service in general. This is more like a 3-star hotel. We definitely would not stay again; there are better choices in El Nido, which is in the main area of Palawan and easily accessible for day tours/island hopping, the airport, etc.

Loved our time at the Dream. The staff are amazing, they try to make your stay personal and happy to help in any way. The room was clean with a comfy big bed, big pillows and a view of the sea. The food was cooked freshly at every meal so we had to wait but that’s time to chill and chat! Not everything on the menu is always available, as it’s an island I guess produce isn’t always there. We did a day island hopping which was fantastic, swam with turtles and swam in a lagoon as well as snorkelling too. The Dream suited us perfectly as it’s quiet and away from tourists. We went to Taytay and saw a working town with ‘real’ people. If you want a busy resort with lots of bars and nightlife El Nido will suit you better.

There is much to commend the Dream Resort: beautifully styled, generous public spaces - we loved the yoga pavilion, and the pool is larger than the pics suggest - and blessed with stunning ocean views. The villas are spacious, bed comfortable and firm, and private - no noisy hotel room neighbours here. A work desk and chair in the villa are lacking, especially as the wifi was generally much better in the room than the restaurant. Food was fair to good but nothing special. For some reason we found food in the Philippines to be generally bland compared to elsewhere in Southeast Asia; and we’ve travelled to all the ASEAN countries bar Brunei. The downside of the resort is that it’s fairly isolated. There’s very little in the way of alternative restaurants in Taytay. A new kid in town, Leonidas, is 10 minutes north, and a viable option for lunches and dinner - and proper coffee. One suggestion for the Dream team (😉) would be to have a water station in the restaurant or filled bottles at the bar ready for collection (as other places we stayed at did) as we found the need to have to find a staff member to fill our water bottle a little annoying. (Tap water is not potable in the Philippines outside Manila.) The gardens will delight birders. In addition to the ubiquitous Palawan sunbird we saw ioras, leafbirds, flowerpeckers, two kingfishers, amongst many others along the shore. And we loved walking out on to the extensive mudflats at low tide. Note, though, that the beach isn’t one for swimming. Staff were always welcoming and helpful. A few minor improvements would make it a 5-star boutique resort.

Beautiful resort, just like a beautiful dream. Staff's willingness to serve makes this place more attractive and comfortable. They try to do everything in their control to make guest's stay memorable. Small team but 100% efforts. We love everything about this resort and highly recommend to everyone even vegetarians. Just one thing wants to mention that you should be physically fit to walk around the resort. We will go back again.
