We had a mixed experience at Livo Hotels Valle Torito & Waterpark. The hotel gives the impression that it was once a lively, well-maintained place, but it seems to have been somewhat neglected. Certain public areas, especially around the pool, feel tired and in need of a deep clean or refurbishment. That said, the hotel felt very safe, and the cleaning staff were excellent — rooms were cleaned daily and beds were made every day. They do a fantastic job. The pool area, however, was disappointing. Although they claim it is chlorinated daily, the water didn’t smell or feel like it. The surface around the pool felt dirty, almost like there was a film of grime over it. The texture was slippery and unpleasant. The food was inconsistent. Breakfasts included some unusual choices — what was advertised as bacon was more like tinned spam, and the same meat seemed to be reused in various meals. While we understand it’s not a British hotel, having tinned meat as a bacon substitute or boiled cauliflower as breakfast is very odd. There was a noticeable decline in variety as the week progressed, almost as if they were running out of stock. On top of that, there’s no flexibility in dining arrangements — our group of eight had to always ask to be seated together, and staff allocated tables rather than allowing guests to choose. The bar and entertainment area were also lacking. Evening shows varied in quality — the team did the best they could with what little resources they seam to have. The variety show was a mixture of Chicago, Michael Jackson and the greatest showman, however there was only one costume through out the whole show. The entertainment programme felt underfunded, and the venue too small for the number of hotels sharing it. For such a big complex, better staging or even multiple performance areas would make a big difference. One of the most frustrating issues was access to drinking water. On arrival, we were warned not to drink tap water due to the risk of stomach issues. There were a single bottle in the fridge, but between 11 PM and 6–7 AM, there was no easy access to more water. The main drinking fountains were turned off outside these hours, and signs stated you couldn’t fill bottles from the taps. The official guidance from both Jet2 and the hotel was to buy bottled water from the shop — which, considering this is an all-inclusive resort, felt unacceptable. You would expect basic drinking water to be included. The rooms themselves were decent, well-sized and comfortable. The lobby and general décor are basic and clean, and the reception staff were mostly polite and helpful. Overall, the hotel feels like it needs more staff, more investment, and a lot more attention to detail. It’s marketed as a wellness resort, but in reality, we would rate it more like a 3-star (at best, a generous 3.5). With a loosening of the complicated All Inclusive rules and reinvestment, it could be excellent, but in its current state, it falls short of expectatio

Just got back from a very enjoyable hoilday at the LIVVO Hotel Valle Taurito. Family of three, on arrival checked it quickly, we had requested two rooms next to each other and this what we got. Both rooms were large, clean with a veiw of the sea, the only rooms with no sea view are on floor one, same floor the pool is on. (which we found out later). Two pools one which is exceedingly small for the younger children only. Sun-beds, are plentiful and if you want one by the pool you need to be up early The bar (pool bar) is the only one, it is the same bar you use for the evening also. Beer is served in paper cups and wine in plastic ones; this is the same for the evening. Burgers, hotdogs & cake are served at the pool bar during the day all are tasty. The pool: do not buy inflatables of any description or bring a ball, these are not allowed in the pool. Hotel restaurant: We had no problems with any of the food, and I am a fussy eater. You can eat in or outside here. If you want a beer or wine in the restaurant you have to serve yourself, here you do get glasses but only small (4x four glasses of beer = one pint). In all parts of the hotel the staff work hard to kept it clean. I believe the only thing missing form this hotel is a lounge, a place to chill with a nice drink. Entertainment: this is outside the hotel in the Arena Plaza, this is shared with its sister hotel which is across the centre, drinks are included, and it does get busy. Shops: there are a few shops within the centre which will cater for them things you forgot to bring. Restaurants: There two which we used a couple of times with no complaints, these are on the beach which you cannot see from ground level, go down the steps and your’ll come across them. (They do have all the sports channels). Trip to Puerto Rico and port Morgan. We did trips both for food and shopping, at the roundabout 2 mins from the hotel is a bus stop and taxi stand, the bus will take to Puerto Rico for two euros or a taxi fourteen euros. (The hotel will call a taxi for you save you walking up). Port Morgen is a beautiful place to visit with lots of restaurants along harbour wall. Due the motorway having no exit in one direction, you have go to Puerto Rico, turn around and come back down the motorway, best way to do this is to go Puerto Rico sped the day-and get a return ferry to Port Morgan. Im sorry this is long winded, but a read a couple of bad reviews that were putting me going and at one stage I was going to change the hotel, which Im glad I didn’t. Any issues have a chat with Jet2 , he’s good.

Hotel Livvo Valle Taurito The hotel was really poor, firstly we got there 3hrs later than expected. The Sunbed situation is terrible, everyone leaves out towels all night/day for the whole holiday. The staff just don’t care either when you ask them. One night I ate chicken not realising it was undercooked until I’d already ate some. WiFi was really poor even in the rooms. Only 2 pools. One is baby pool no bigger than a jacuzzi size and the main pool is small, no balls or inflatables are allowed either for the kids. The entertainment is in the centre park which is shared with 6 other hotels, no seating is ever available until you camp there 8hrs earlier to get a seat. No hotel entertainment at all, with around 15 tables outside for the whole hotel guests. Unfortunately for a 4star hotel we were expecting a lot more.

Overall the holiday was ok but the Hotel is not what the sell you on the pictures!!! This Hotel maybe was 4 Stars 10-15 years ago but now is below 2 Stars !!! The rooms needs to be updated, the furniture Old, the beds Old and uncomfortable!! not to mention the sofa bed that creaked from every single screw !! the curtains old and with holes in it, the door from the balcony was not closing properly and you hear everything from outside!! No privacy on the Balcony from the other rooms, the Wifi is not working !! No USB charging plugs in the rooms and we are in 2025 !! Everything was OUTDATED and OLD !! for using the SPA you had to pay extra !! the rugs on the hallways outdated and dirty !!! Avoid !!! what they sell on the website is not the same when you are there !!!

We’ve just got back from a 10 night Jet2 package holiday to Valle Taurito and overall it was a really nice break away for us as a family. If you are looking to come here please bear a few things in mind All inclusive - it is All Inclusive only on selected drinks and cocktails until 11pm and then everything is chargeable. The menu for All Inclusive isn’t large, but this suited us as we aren’t the biggest drinkers. Also be aware the pool bar and entertainment bar charge different prices for the same things which we found strange. Rooms - Rooms were spacious and were nice for what we wanted. The cleaning staff were great and everything was tidied and cleaned every day. Food - Food buffet was okay and there is something for everyone. It does get a little repetitive with some of the same on a daily basis. This wasn’t the end of the world for us and the food is nice. We had picky eaters in our party and this worked for them. Waterpark - you do get free entry into the waterpark and it is great for older children. The water is Saltwater but mine just showered after each slide and wore goggles and were completely fine. The majority of slides are for ages 6+. I have a small toddler and besides a baby pool there wasn’t much else apart from swimming for him. Entertainment - this was the biggest let down for me. There are different hotels that share the same entertainment venue which is small. There are other things to do like mini golf and trampolines and an arcade, however on an evening these are busy so I would go earlier to beat the crowds. They hold a mini disco on some nights which is great for kids but it is the same songs over and over. The entertainment team do a great job and bring energy however they are let down by lack of support from the hotels. Some of the nights felt lousy and not the standard you expect at a complex that size. Complex - everything is really close with shops, a supermarket, a pharmacy and a beach all within a 100m bubble of each other which is ideal if you don’t want to travel far Despite everything my little ones had an amazing holiday, it was our first one as a family of four and they were really sad to come back home. Overall it was a nice stay and I feel overall the hotel is nice but not perfect!!

An honest review and in my opinion I could not fault this hotel at all!! We were so pleased with everything after reading some of the reviews on here. Even talking to other families whilst we were there, all said the same. If any of us had listened to the bad reviews we wouldn't be here and having an amazing time! This was our first family holiday aboard, after a long day travelling we arrived late, past midnight due to delays and we were welcomed by 2 members of staff at reception. they checked us in with no problems and gave us a small picnic as we had missed our evening meal. (sandwich, apple, pear and some biscuits. plus a bottle of water.) Very grateful as we had 4 hungry children! 19, 14, 9 and 4. We were a mixed aged family and friends, teenagers and young children. 2 with Additional needs and we had the best time. Staff/Maintenance - Not one rude member, honestly everyone was so friendly and smiling. There was some repairs being done whilst we were there. Not that this was a problem, nor did it bother us. was all done professionally and in a timely manner. Rooms - CLEAN, cleaners in daily if you leave the sign on the door. beds, towels, floors and bins all changed and cleaned. Air con works and wasn't loud. its only cuts out when you open the patio door. Sustainability is this hotels aim. Well done! Pool - WOW! my kids spent all week in here. Clean, warm and safe. Life guards are on point, only allowing 1 ring size for safety, 76cm. you still had lots of fun. we were jumping in, diving and bombing and making a splash. Animation team - Fantastic, came round the pool daily, asking families if the kids wanted to go to either mini/maxi club. football, golf and much more was on offer. They also did a daily competitions, for 2 free tickets to the spa. free and good fun. Pool Bar - Open daily 10am-11pm. Drinks and snacks, usual all inc drinks on offer. kids were on Pepsi all week. small selection of food, burgers/hotdogs/pasta/salads/cakes. Restaurant - Open 7;30am-10;30am/ 12;45-3pm/ 6;30-9;30 plenty of food, even for the fussy. couple of theme nights, Mexican and Chinese. pizza daily, chips, pasta, ice cream, fruit, selection of jellies, local desserts. very nice! The hotel is in a lovely area, a valley with outstanding views. all though your unable to see the sunrise, behind the mountains. the sunset is visible from the beach. Entertainment (plaza) - The main complex has a stage and seating area in the middle of the 3 hotels. next to the mini golf and arcades. Kids disco 7;30ish, for an hour then daily main shows from 8;30. we had magician, flamingo dancers and acrobatics, to name a few. you can get your all inc drinks here un-till 11pm. Trips - A must if you want to explore. Go see Fred or Olga at the Kiosk. right by the entrance to the plaza. He will show you all the options available in your budget and give you a good deal. we did the glass bottom boat, to see the dolphins. oh my, what an experience. Be sure to have Euros,

Location is extremely beautiful. That’s about the only positive thing I have to say regarding this resort. From our arrival we were handed small child sized sandwich bags and sent to our rooms by two very fed up looking Reception staff. Everything just went downhill from here. Arrived in our room to realise I had to share a sofa bed with my son… who is 16 years old. This wasn’t what was sent to us upon booking. Huge mistake to query this in the first instance. The receptionists weren’t helpful at all. The manager hated us right away and made it extremely obvious she wasn’t interested in helping. She made every effort to avoid talking to us. Called Jet2 resort staff, they seemed to not know what to do so I was passed around in the hope someone else could ‘deal’ with us. The Aircon in the room sounded like we had a struggling motorbike next to our pillows. There was no lounge as this is used for you to sleep in. Just awful The hotel is being taken over and due to this some members of staff don’t really care much about you or your stay. Food was less than mediocre, served pretty much the same menu every day only for the leftovers to be remixed the next day and be called something different. The rooms are indeed dated and need a retesh. It’s wrong to falsely advertise this mediocre accommodation as a 3 star, I personally don’t agree and will not be back here. Other hotels in this area seem to care a bit more than this one so I wouldnt waste my money with them. Jet2 haven’t listened to any of our complaints and either did the hotel. We’ve now been back for over a week. I’ve logged so many complaints and still not heard one thing from jet2. I would say avoid until they change ownership. The new owner will hopefully care a bit more.

The hotel in general was lovely, located in a beautiful area and had plenty to do at the resort. As we arrived to check in, the check in desk had a long queue of people, it took over an hour to finally get checked in. There was only one person on reception at the time so maybe another staff member would benefit the speed and ease of checking in. It was very late and after a long day it would have been nice to have had a little easier and faster check in process. The room was a great size, reasonably clean but could do with a bit of TLC here and there. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but I have a bad back so might just be preference. My husband found the beds fine. Lovely view from our balcony of the resort and mountains. The food for an all inclusive buffet was better than expected. Always found something we would eat and it was of good standard. Plenty of variety. Can be a bit repetitive at times but for all inclusive buffet food probably one of the best I’ve had on a holiday. The soft drinks were branded and can help yourself to. I’m not a big drinker so can’t comment too much on alcoholic drinks. The pool snack bar I would avoid the burgers, they were not cooked or edible but hotdogs seemed ok. The pools were lovely and the water park was always busy and many seemed to enjoy it. They had an arcade on resort too, some shops and you can walk to the beach within a few minutes. This hotel is definitely very family orientated and you don’t really need to leave the resort if you don’t want to. But if you want to explore I’d definitely recommend Puerto Rico. Overall the stay was pleasant, different experience to others holidays we’ve been on as a family. I’d definitely come back here and feel that some of the reviews I’ve seen I don’t think seem fair and I think are about the 3 star hotel opposite run by the same people.
