Due to a family emergency I stayed here three nights at short notice - lucky to get a room as it is in high demand. The executive studios are good-sized and clean, with new appliances, air conditioning and large TV with access to Sky plus personally-subscribed providers like Netflix etc. Reception very accessible, and from conversations I learned the proprietor has a lot of international experience running high end accommodation. Free parking, and literally across the road from Tauranga Hospital's main entrance. The CBD is a few minutes' drive away, supermarket and eateries within walking distance. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - terrific

Last minute holiday and this was available so we booked. Took a studio unit and it was really lovely for us - two adults and a teenager. Had everything we needed - fantastic fan supplied to help us keep cool too. Comfy beds and great tv with ALL the Sky channels. Nicely maintained room with lovely gardens as well :). Location was fine - not noisy and not out of the way. Thanks for having us.

We only spent one night here. Good value for money, the beds were good, having a private spar a bonus after a long day. Very clean and tidy and a comfortable ground floor unit, which we had asked for. Getting to the place when you dont know Tauranga was a mission the last roundabout with traffic lights just before the road was confusing but that's not the fought of the motel. It did say coffee machine on advertising, no plunger or machine but plunger coffee provided...... so it may have been taken. If we were staying longer I would have asked them about it. Over all comfortable.

Everything was ideal for our stay at the motel. We arrived without a booking due to complications with another booking we had made in town and Lorraine and Athol found us alternative accommodation until they had a vacancy for us. We found the unit spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The daily servicing was carried out by very friendly staff. The location is within easy walking distance to the CBD to enjoy the variety of cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and an easy drive to the fabulous beaches at the Mount and Papamoa beaches. We will definitely stay there again and recommend the Harbour View Motel as a great place to stay. Thanks, Lorraine and Athol.

The hotel is located in the city center, eating and shopping is also convenient. Similar to a business hotel, the room is large and clean. The only thing that bothers me is the smart light. At night, no one walks around and it is completely off. It is very unfriendly to me who likes to leave the light at night. I don't know if I didn't set it up.

I stayed at this property for a night when travelling on the road. It was my second stay at this property though the previous stay was a decade ago. This time I stayed at a suite for the night. The suite was spacious with a good layout and split between the living area and the bedroom. I was able to do some work, eat, chill out and sleep within the suite nicely. The suite also had a very small balcony though it was just overlooking the back of several buildings around . Staff at the hotel was attentive and efficient, though staying there only for one night meant my encounters with staff was limited. I enjoyed my stay at this property and will consider staying here if I visit Tauranga again in the future.

Pros: CBD convenient location, tidy, spacious, friendly staff, free parking. You can just leave the car at the motel and walk every to go for dinner. Room has nice spa bath. I accidently left my phone and they sent it back to me. Cons: Some family rooms are connected to the next rooms with lockable door. The door is not sound proofed so we could hear the neighbor's very loud snoring and coughing all night. (Another time we stayed we did not have this issue because there was no connecting door) If you want milk you have to ask for it or they will not give it to you. Issues were minor and we would stay again.
