Despite a lot of rain it has been a very pleasant stay. I highly recommend this hostel

Really great hostel! Amazing location and view over the sea. The staff was also very kind! Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything you need. The room was also very spacious! Would definitly recommend and come again!

We booked this for the Fisher concert and it was a great spot! Our private double room was cozy, cleaned daily and had everything necessary. The location was great as the bus stop to the concert was less than 5 minutes away. The receptionist was chatty and helpful with all our questions. The morning breakfast on the balcony defiantly was the best part! What a great historic building and a surprising highlight of our weekend! Views 10/10!

My Friend and I are staying at Wanderlust for four nights. It's a lovely place to stay and the staff are incredibly friendly. It is very clean and well-equipped. We highly recommend it! :)

My friend and I had a great experience with Wanderlust Nz. It is a nice place to stay, surrounded by a good location! The staff are very courteous and friendly!

The place is great, with lots of restaurants around and an ATM about 50 metres away, right in front of a lagoon that connects to the sea. The rooms are excellent, everything really clean and tidy, with a comfy bed and duvet. The bathroom is super spacious, with plenty of room for your toiletries. The staff at reception are really friendly and give clear, straight‑to‑the‑point info when you ask anything. The shared kitchen is huge and well set up. The people staying there had such good vibes. I loved everything and it was definitely the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. If I ever go back to Tauranga, I’ll definitely stay there again.

Nice spot on the water over looking the harbour and river from the verandah, but spolit by loud backers who live their. Thebproblemnisnthry get comfortable and think they own the place and forget about guests staying there. It's a shame because it's a beautiful spot

Very basic accomodation as expected. Was all I needed for a night.

I booked for 3 nights to start with as I wanted to check the area first to see if I would like it. The bud thinning season is about to start and the lovely reception people helped me get a job and offered me a discounted weekly rate! So glad I tried this place out. Also the view is insane, so so beautiful. I love having my breakfast looking at the water, it sets the ton for my day. Feeling happy and relaxed! :)
