The landlady is very friendly. The room we booked also has a natural hot spring. However, we are traveling like special forces and have no time to enjoy it. The room is also quite cozy and suitable for families. Taupo is a good place to stay for one more day, and there are still some unplanned spots, which is really nice.

Good location, very good rooms but the sofas and some quilts need to be changed as they were dirty and old. Something needs to be done to the noise as we could hear other guests of the other rooms. The manager, I believe he is Chinese , was very polite, helpful and kind.

The room is huge, with two floors up and down, the living room above the room below. A lot of small suites, personally like it. It should be more suitable for families or 4 people. The two of us are really a bit empty. Because we arrived late, the room was very intimately locked the key to the door and sent a secret to us for self check-in, and the air conditioning was turned on in the room. TV and lights for us. Due to the old room, there were creaking sounds on the floor, several lights in the living room were not lit, and flickered, and the room reacted upon check out, I wonder if it will be repaired. The room has a spa. We did n’t have time to soak. The room also has a washing machine that can be used. The washing powder was prepared intimately. After soaking in the hot spring, you can wash your clothes. Good location, turn left when you go to Taupo Lake, then walk for about 10 minutes is the downtown area. Overall worthy of this price.

Great location right in the beach front. Amazing rooms, nice and spacious. Facilities of the hotel could do with an update/deep clean such as the pool area. Checkin staff didn’t arrive until 14.20 so we were waiting around for them. Overall, great stay and would definitely stay again.

Poor experience at this hotel. First room service argued they had cleaned the room when they had clearly not and it took photographic evidence for staff to believe us. Also discovered that their check in staff charged the full price room as a deposit ($304) but only mentioned charging $70 at check in; this is an issue as the room was prepaid. The room itself was comfortable and the pool and gym good. But poor and incompetent treatment by staff would put me off choosing to stay here again.

The hotel is a historic resort with a beautiful and natural environment, hot springs, Victorian architectural style, and well-arranged villas and buildings. There are also entertainment and leisure facilities for children. There were no twin rooms when we checked in, so the front desk upgraded us to a family villa and added an electric heater. The service was very thoughtful and meticulous, the room was clean and warm, the bedding was comfortable, and it was a very good stay. I recommend everyone to stay there.
