Taupo Wairakei Hotels

I recently stayed two nights at Waitakei Resort and had a wonderful experience. The surroundings were incredibly peaceful and scenic, offering a perfect escape from the city. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view. The staff were friendly and attentive, always willing to help with any request. I especially enjoyed the resort’s natural hot springs — a highlight of the stay. The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious, with plenty of options and fresh ingredients. Overall, I would highly recommend Waitakei Resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and refreshing getaway. I hope to visit again soon!

特別推薦入住，最少也要住上兩晚。 這間酒店不愧是英國女王伊麗莎白二世入住過四次的酒店。它坐落在陶波湖胡卡瀑布河畔，佔地約68796平方米，曾獲評2022年全球最浪漫旅館第六名。 酒店房費是包含早餐和晚餐的費用，不允許10歲以下的小童入住。 設施、衞生、服務、環境都是一流的，也有中文服務。迷你吧所有飲料、酒水、食物都是免費的。房間出去就是湖邊，黑天鵝、野鴨、麻雀就在腳邊溜達。步行10分鐘即可到達胡卡瀑布。酒店有專車可以接送去陶波市區。 照片都是在房間內和房間外露台上拍的。

房間舒適，有小廚房，但建議只使用微波爐或水煮類，味道強烈的不能使用需付清潔費，所以這點有點小不方便，其他都很OK

It's a small and neat motel. The man at the front desk is very nice. There is WIFI, a microwave and an electric hot pot. There are also many restaurants near the lake. I will stay here next time I come to Taupo.

Service is not bad, in the center of the town, very close to the lake. There is Chinese service, service is not bad, health is good. And parking space, parking is convenient, very close to McDonald's, it is unreasonable to check out at 10 am, check out is constantly urged, it feels very bad.

Taobo's hotels are expensive. This one was cheaper than I found at the time. The uncle at the front desk also gave fresh milk, which was really delicious. Also help me call 800 because I don't have a local mobile phone card. But the hotel is not a real lake view room, only some rooms are facing the lake, others are on the side.

Very clean amenities, staff were very helpful. Community kitchen is a great idea and we’ll set out with all utensils needed to cook a meal. Would definitely recommend the Silver Fern to anybody.

I stayed just one night. There were 3 people in my room and 8 people is available in my room. There were 4 bunk beds and i stayed the below one. It was so low ceiling so i hit my head so many times 🤣 The bed was not dirty but not clean. The kitchen was small but i think it was enough. So i am almost satisfied with the hotel. I stayed Haka house Rotorua before, so I expected that Haka house in Taupo also be same quality. But in Rotorua was better hahah please check my review of Haka house Rotorua🙂

The room is spacious and well-equipped, suitable for holiday and leisure. The beautiful Lake Taupo is just across the road, and McDonald's is a few minutes' walk away. The location is convenient and relatively quiet.
