The location is excellent. I stayed in this hotel before the epidemic. I stayed in a three-bedroom apartment on the first floor that time. It was very good. This time we only booked a two-bedroom apartment on the second floor. The facilities and equipment are a bit old, but the bedding and towels are all new and high-quality. We spent three nights at this very comfortable hotel in Taupo in early June. We were visiting our daughter who lives in the town but didn’t have enough room for us to stay. I was after a hotel with a view of the beautiful lake, but still within walking distance to town as we didn’t have a car. Suncourt Hotel fitted the brief perfectly. We booked a Premier Deluxe Lakeview Studio room. The room that we were allotted was on the top floor. There was no lift, so you needed to climb the outdoor steps with luggage. Our room was very large, with a king size bed, a desk, two comfortable chairs and a coffee table. The bathroom was huge with a walk-in shower and a free-standing bath. There was also a very large balcony with a stunning view of the lake and a further two chairs and a small table. The reception staff were very helpful not only with our original reservation, but also when we needed to add a night and with any questions that we had. The only downside to me was that their restaurant was not open on the evening that we checked in, which was Sunday, and also not for breakfast on the Monday morning. We did know this in advance though, and as the town was easily walkable it wasn’t a problem. We had two breakfasts in the restaurant, and they were excellent. As we had other dinner plans, we didn’t have dinner in the restaurant, but our daughter and her partner have eaten there and loved it. If you are looking for a very large hotel room with a view, then Suncourt is for you. I believe they have much larger apartment style rooms which would be more suitable for families, although we didn’t get to see any of these.

The landlady is very friendly. The room we booked also has a natural hot spring. However, we are traveling like special forces and have no time to enjoy it. The room is also quite cozy and suitable for families. Taupo is a good place to stay for one more day, and there are still some unplanned spots, which is really nice.

There are some car hotels, right next to Lake Taupo, the scenery does not say, the car stops at the door of the room, very convenient, very suitable for self-driving travel. The rooms are compact but well-equipped, cooking and bathing are not a problem. It is very close to the supermarket and the place to eat, and there are two or three intersections by car. The New Zealand big sister at the front desk was very enthusiastic and stayed with milk.

This hotel is very quiet, not far from Lake Taupo. The entrance to the yard is a large lawn. There is a road but not the main road. The surrounding environment is very good. There is a big supermarket within 5 minutes of driving. You can buy some ingredients to cook your own food. There are kitchen pots and pans, a double bed and single bed, suitable for family outings! Parking stops at the door of the room where you live! I will stay here now, and the price is right!

One night at this very good Bella Vista Motel. We have stayed at many Bella Vistas and the room layout is nearly the same always. Here we stayed at first floor studio. It was super clean, comfortable beds and heat pump. WiFi connection was fast. Friendly service, too. One of the best Bella Vista accommodations so far. Location is about 20 min. walking distance (3 min. by car) from Taupo center but round the corner there is FourSquare supermarket, café and little further at sea side good pub-restaurant.

This motel was clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious. Very comfortable bed, nice and warm unit. Off road parking close to unit. Only a short distance from the town. Good value. Sky TV with several channels. Well soundproofed from units next door.
