Tauplitz is a Location of great uniqueness. Very rare to find, this peacefulness, relaxing environment, amazing mountain air and the Hotel ‘ Der Hechl’ is a very special calming place to stay. Extremely nice energy, the air, the Ambiente all is rather unique. Finding tranquility by hiking, biking, or skiing ( I was there as well in January 2025) it’s such a peaceful place - .very special indeed !!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay here. The hotel is large, spacious and clean. Our room was very nice. It was in the newer part of the building and had plenty of storage and space, it was clean and had a nice balcony. We enjoyed using the wellness area every day (sauna, steam room, indoor loungers, outdoor swimming pool) and found it very relaxing. Breakfast was perfect – lots of variety with good quality ingredients. We had dinner twice and enjoyed our meals both times. The staff at the hotel are its biggest asset. Everyone is so hospitable and helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Das Hotel liegt mitten im Ort und besteht aus mehreren Gebäuden. Es gibt sogar zwei Parkplätze: einen vorne wo man durch den Gastgarten fahren muss und einen hinten für die Zimmer im anderen Gebäude, sodass man die Koffer nicht durch die ganzen Flure rollen muss. Ist hilfreich zu wissen. Begrüssung erfolgte herzlich von der Hausherrin. Ansonsten waren die Mitarbeiterinnen manchmal etwas trocken und sachlich. Hinten raus haben die Zimmer eine tolle Aussicht auf den Grimming. Leider hatte unsere Suite eine Badewanne und nicht die schöne ebenerdige Dusche, die ich auf einem Foto auf der website gesehen hatte. Und leider auch einen Teppichboden. Ansonsten war es ein sehr schönes grosses Zimmer mit Balkon und Sitzecke. Alles sehr ruhig und sehr sauber. Frühstück und Abendessen im Restaurant waren immer sehr gut. Gefallen haben mir alle renovierten Teile des Hauses: der Eingangsbereich, der Bewegungsraum, der Wellnessbereich und auch der kleine Pool .
