The hotel staff super friendly. Especially, Mr Matsumoto San provide extra mile service to become our snow trekking lead to experience the snow hiking near the hotel. Snowshoe and equipment all provided by the hotel. There also have onsen bath. Really a great experience to those want to play with snow. The dinner and breakfast also very good. Strongly recommended to stay at this hotel.

Located next to Midagahara Bus Stop. Very homely feeling and responsive staff. Great breakfast and dinner as well as public bath. Lots of hiking trails near the hotel. Highly recommend.

This lodge is a wonderful base to explore the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. You can walk the Midagahara wetland just outside, and then take the bus up to Murodo to traverse the whole way to Kurobe dam.
Staff are very helpful, and breakfasts and dinners very tasty indeed. Recommended.

It is very close to the Midagahara bus stop, just a few steps away, unlike the Thunderbird Sawa where it is more inconvenient. Staying in Tateyama itself was a bit burdensome, but after using it, I think I had a good stay here.
It was before check-in time, but they kept my luggage, and on the day I stayed, a total of 7 people stayed, so it wasn't crowded and it was nice!
I was worried that I wouldn't meet other people in the public bath, but I washed it leisurely by myself.
All the necessary equipment to go to the caldera was provided near the accommodation, so I was able to go there safely!
When I came back, it was evening, so I ate while watching the sunset, and it was the best to see the stars at night.
Needless to say the staff was friendly
They say wetland trekking in the summer and viewing the foliage in the fall are good, but if I go there again, I will definitely go to this place.
Oh, and you can choose the bus time for the next day, and it was very nice to schedule it in advance!
By the way, there is no refrigerator! But it's cold, so if you put it by the window, there's no refrigerator.
