Since this was our first foreign trip together, I wanted our four nights here to be a special treat. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi suite with sea view was a major disappointment and downright waste of money. The balcony jacuzzi was unusable since the water was, at best, lukewarm, and the water pressure poor. However, the breathtaking view from our room was simply to die for. Unfortunately, that's what I almost did since the guardrail on the balcony had a bolt unfastened and shifted dangerously under my weight!
Inside, the wallpaper was coming off the walls in several places but the ac worked well and the bed was comfy.
The manager did his best to remedy the problems and even offered to move us to another suite which we declined since it was smaller and had a lesser view. And there lies the redeeming quality of this hotel. It's staff! Everyone from the restaurant manager to the activities director was geniunly friendly and helpful. No fake smiles or canned greetings.
Despite the disappointment of paying for a jacuzzi that we couldn't use, the amazing view from our balcony and the wonderful staff made our stay at King Royal Palace Ölüdeniz truly memorable.

The scenery of this hotel is impeccable, the buffet is one of the best in Turkey, the swimming pool is clean, and you can see paragliding while swimming in the morning. The only drawback is also the drawback of most hotels, with first-rate environment and third-rate rooms. The room environment is similar to that of 7 Days Inn in China. The price is not expensive and it is still a good choice overall.
