It’s a beautiful hotel, but location was not good. I encountered a problem with a dishonest employee in the reception/ concierge. I asked the employee to help me book a trip by train from Tashkent to Samarkand. He started searching on his mobile for a ticket for a trip on Saturday 14 June. He told me it would cost me UZS650,000. I was able to open the Uzbek railway website to discover the ticket prices is UZS 141,000 for a single ticket. When I confronted him he said he was trying to book me a suite for two people. I checked the price for the suite and found it UZS 500,000 only. Then I told him to buy me a single ticket which he did and paid for it using his credit card. When I try to pay him UZS 141,000. He asked me to pay him UZS 200,000 and asked him why and he said it’s for his efforts. Anyway, I paid him UZS 200,000.

Customer service 0. If you visit this hotel after pay online; they will request to pay cash and never refund your payment. The organization operates in a highly rigid and strictly administrative manner. Never visit again.

security will follow you and guests in this hotel, this makes guests uncomfortable. I used to notice this in the old soviet times. Hopefully this mentality will change soon and it will take the younger generation to break bad customs. the other hotels such as hilton, panarams, hyatt dont do this.
