Hotel El Ghazi

This was an awful experience.I booked to stay at this hotel and on the day prior to travelling there I tried to make contact.Nobody answered the telephone,despite trying several times.When I arrived the following day there was nobody there to handle check-in.Luckily a kind man on the street telephoned and soon somebody called Zachariah did arrive to check me in.The room was small and,whatever about the room itself,the en-suite had not been cleaned after the last occupant-a dirty towel was draped across the bathroom door and the floor was wet and in need of mopping.I was told by Zachariah that the cleaning lady would arrive soon.I went out but returned several times to check and by 6.00 pm NOBODY had turned up to clean the place.....Moreover the front door could easily be opened without a key and,with no member of staff in residence,I felt this was unsafe....I left and stayed elsewhere.This place is badly run and I do not recommend it.
