El apartamento tiene todo lo necesario y la terraza es genial, aunque en otras ocasiones nos ha tocado un apartamento con mejores vistas. La cocina es pequeña pero funcional. Ya nos hemos alojado aquí en 3 ocasiones, repetiremos seguro!

Some bits to improve on
Overall was a very good stay, albeit I must say the beds were very uncomfortable. Two single beds for a couple and with those top up very thing and soft mattress that aren’t really a mattress and are horrible for your back. Bed frames also had breaks that were not working so the frames would also easily move.
When we checked in we were told the pool closing time was at 7, however I got in the pool at 17:55 and got told off by the maintenance guy telling me pool closes at 18:00 and it is o my in summer it closes at 19:00. Gran Canaria is a sunny island and I think the pool should always stay open until 7 so that people can take advantage of it.

+ Cheap buffet at the hotel
+ Great for families
+ Cleaning staff even did the dishes
+ Paths with no stairs, so it's easy to check-in with luggage
+ Nice patio with an amazing view of both the ocean and the desert behind
- Was hard to find out where to check in, our taxi driver drove us to las pitas and not the hotel
- Bahia beach has a lot of smaller stones which makes it tricky to orient, something can be done there I believe

Great place, wide and comfy apartment, indeed on the hill, but you can handle it :)

It was so hard to check in. So many steps to get to the property. Hard to find parking in street. Property air conditioner was not working fine and was noisy. Property was far from beach and swimming pool. Over all that was waste of money.

Las Pitas son apartamentos antiguos, a los que se accede subiendo una gran pendiente. La zona está llena de cucarachas y los apartamentos también tienen insectos varios, además de desperfectos. Los colchones se desplazan del somier mientras duermes, y los apartamentos son muy calurosos. No deberían costar parecido al hotel Orquídea porque las instalaciones no tienen ni punto de comparación, han sido una decepción y no volveré.
