Our experience at Villa Cerrado das Fonthainas during our wedding weekend was disappointing. Despite the venue's undeniable beauty, the poor organization and lack of privacy made our stay stressful. Key details were mishandled, and despite us booking the all venue for the weekend, we never felt at ease. We hope the management improves communication and guest treatment. While the location is stunning, we cannot recommend this property for significant events.

Absolutely stunning villas in the Portuguese hills, the location is beautiful and so is the accommodation. The staff are welcoming and friendly and all our needs were catered to. The pool and spa facilities are fantastic. Cannot recommend visiting here enough, we stayed here as a wedding party and have had the most amazing time. Thank you to the team at Cerrado dos Fontainhas for making our trip so memorable!

The villa proved to be an exquisite retreat, providing an experience of comfort and luxury. As soon as we entered the villa, we were treated to an ambience of warmth and sophistication, thanks to the wonderful owners who had given their personal touch in every way. What truly made our stay memorable was the astounding service provided by the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. In conclusion, it was more than just a villa, its an experience unto itself.

We spent a gorgeous afternoon in the spa, followed by a delicious meal in the restaurant. The service was exceptional - so kind and thoughtful. The place is amazing, so much love poured into the design. We will definitely go back and book a room next time. Thank you for a wonderful experience! :)

The spa, masseuse, owner (Avani) and staff member Dhyan, were Amazing! Absolutely LOVED my stay. Thank you... xo I arrived thinking I was going to a regular airbnb room to stay and relax for 5 days - Well, what a surprise to discover the spa, lush forests and unique areas to go read a book, or meditate! AND the level of service at Cerrado das Fountainhas was excellent! I'll be back again - no doubt! With friends next time xox

Paradise! We had such a lovely stay.. exactly what we needed after hard working month. The room was warm , clean, cosy and spacious. Dhyan was such a perfect host. Explained everything and prepare a dinner for us! We felt like being in heaven.. and not last! The spa is just perfect! I like very hot sauna - and here you can get it. Take a cold bath in crystal clear pool under the sky afterwards! And so calm area. Quiet and full of beauty.. we want to come back asap!!

Avoid!! They will try to charge you for a coffee without telling you, that there are no amenities included - no coffee facilities, they try to charge for everything, and the rooms are very noisy and the jacuzzi is very dirty and didn't work during our stay. We asked for yoga mats this was never brought to us!!! As per Airbnb or any type of accommodation basic ensiansitals as coffee should be provided. Scam!!!

It was like a home away from home. Beautiful grounds, amazing rooms and incredible hosts. I would stay there next time I visit. The place had a homely feel with all the creature comforts of a five star hotel. The food was prepared by the hosts' personal chefs and you share stories at the dining table with other guests and the owners. It made my entire trip memorable and even more fulfilling than I had expected.
