Taoyuan Guishan District Hotels

It's a great hotel. Room is big enough, clean well equipped. It offers real coffee and shower gel shampoo hand soap and complimentary cookies are all nice. On top of it, on the third floor there's a sauna/bathhouse, which is also kind of gorgeous, when I went there I had the whole place to myself. The only thing to mention is, that Linkou district is not exactly Taipei. For the ones who want to travel to Taipei city centre, the distance is definitely worth considering. But MRT station isn't far and the train ride takes about 30 minutes and bus about 1 hour. But yeah, it's far by all means.

This time, I found a hotel very close to Linkou Sports Center because I wanted to watch the 2NE1 concert! First time staying at Yuelai Pavilion ~ unexpectedly great 👍 Reasonable price, not expensive, not small room, dry and wet separation, with a bathtub and a separate balcony! There is a convenience store and Yonghe Soy Milk next to the hotel ~ quite convenient! The hotel also has a self-service laundry machine and dryer, which is great. 🥰🥰

Located about a 20 minute walk from the nearest MRT. Room was clean but had a faint smell of smoke. The TV/Music controls in the bedroom and in the bathroom are very old and not fully functional— many buttons on the controller do nothing at all. TV does not have Netflix or YouTube so you can only watch local channels. No door on the toilet room. Breakfast is McDonald's and the vegetarian option was a single red bean bao bun. The food was not delivered directly to the room, instead it was placed on a shelf in the car garage so you must leave the room and take the elevator downstairs to retrieve it. Seems more like an hourly/party hotel than somewhere for comfortable stay.

hotel itself was very clean and posh, snacks and drinks in the room were all complimentary. loved the location as the train station itself had express line and commuter line making it easy for me to get to the airport and to NTSU Arena for concerts, would definitely book here again in future! there is 7-11 nearby and a 24hour carrefour within walking distance.

An older hotel that has been upgraded. Very close to MRT and a short ride to the airport. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a large modern mall short walk from hotel.

Far exceeded expectations. I thought this price could only stay in a very broken hotel. Unexpectedly, the room is more than 20 square meters, the toilet is more than 10 square meters, and there is a bathtub. Toiletries are readily available. There is free drinking water and instant noodles. The air conditioner is awesome. Although there are not many choices for breakfast, the quality is quite high, and it is not repeated every day. There is a parking garage downstairs, with one parking space per room. It is within a 10-minute walk of Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. There are convenience stores, restaurants, and cafes in the surrounding area. Take a taxi to Taoyuan Airport for NT$545.

Old hotel, but facilities are OK. Cleanliness is ok, food is so-so.

The hotel is generally okay for a short stay. The room was clean and reasonably spacious, with basic amenities provided. The bed was comfortable, though the pillows were a bit firm for my liking. The staff were polite and helpful, but service could be a bit slow during peak times. Breakfast offered a decent variety, but the quality was just average. The location is convenient, close to local attractions and public transport. Noise from the nearby road could be heard occasionally, but it wasn’t too disruptive. Overall, it's a decent option if you're looking for a budget-friendly stay.

The room wasn't new and felt a bit dated. We also found there weren't enough charging outlets, and the TV wasn't a smart TV. However, the staff were polite. Regarding the hotel's location, it can be quite inconvenient if you're traveling with large luggage and need to take a bus from Taoyuan Train Station. I'd advise finding out about the bus stops closer to the hotel beforehand. Unfortunately, an adjacent building was undergoing exterior maintenance during our stay, and the noise disrupted our rest in the room.
