This is my idea of the perfect hotel. Great beds, great shower, great views and great breakfasts. The staff do things effortlessly and any request is not a problem. We only stayed 2 nights but will return for a longer stay. Thankyou for the great memories.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at Villa Angela. This is a boutique style hotel, high standard of cleanliness throughout, a lovely pool area and fantastic views from our bedroom balcony overlooking Taormina village, Mount Etna and the Ionian Sea. The buffet style breakfast in the restaurant was always freshly prepared and delicious. Villa Angela operates a shuttle bus (8-seater) several times a day, to and from the hotel to Taormina centre. This was a great service, very reliable, easy to book and only a small charge for the duration of our stay. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall, a fantastic holiday and we look forward to staying at Villa Angela once again.

A friend and I recently had a wonderful 2 nights in the Etna Suite (which can be converted into 2 bedroom suite or 1 bedroom with larger living room). We had 2 balconies with lovely views of the town/ocean and Mt. Etna. The hotel is not located in the center of town, but you can walk up/down the stairs there (takes about 20 minutes) and they also have a shuttle bus (which is free the first day and then 5 euros per person thereafter). The service was wonderful - very helpful. We had a late flight so we checked out late morning and left our bags with the front desk, and then used the shower room before we left. Breakfast was nice too, with wonderful fresh orange juice. Taoromina is pretty pricey post White Lotus fame, but this hotel was pretty reasonably priced.

We returned here after we stayed here 10 years ago. It didn’t disappoint. The service was still excellent. The room and views are just lovely. We will be back hopefully next year. Far enough out of Taormina to be quiet but an easy trip in to town on their little bus. Breakfast is excellent too.

Absolutely stunning location topped off with first class facilities. We booked this at the last minute to round off our stay in Sicily and we’re not disappointed. Use of the shuttle bus to town was much appreciated. All staff were very informative and could not have been any more helpful and friendly.

Beautiful hotel felt luxurious in a laid back relaxing way. Room was gorgeous and comfortable with a stunning view of Mount Etna. All staff were friendly and extremely helpful and we felt they did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Attention to detail with beautiful paintings and ornamental features were stunning. A holiday we will always remember so thank you Villa Angela we are extremely thankful for making our stay very special.

We visited this hotel for 12 nights it was so beautiful great location view and service. Rooms were amazing and clean every day with clean towels changed each day. The staff were so helpful nothing was ever too much for them. Breakfast was yummy so much to choose from. We would definitely return.

Pretty hard to fault it. Lovely comfortable hotel with great facilities and easy to get into town. Lovely staff and we even met the lovely Mr Kerr. Quick tip - if you want to go to Etna go see the reception staff and get a trip via Etnapeople - they pick you up at the hotel, price is good and you get a fab trip - and dropped back.

Fantastic hotel with amazing views of Etna. The pool was lovely ( a little chilly at end of May but I swam every day ) and it was wonderfully peaceful sunbathing either on our balcony or round the pool. The restaurant has lovely views and the meals were very good. There is also a very good restaurant a short walk up the hill with equally amazing views. The bedrooms are very comfortable and have new bathrooms. The staff were so helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. There is a shuttle bus to and from the town if you don’t fancy the walk up and down ( we only walked up once as it was quite steep.) Would highly recommend this hotel especially if you like views !
