This place is really expensive, particularly after the White Lotus series. However, it is a great hotel in a spectacular location. We had a sea view premium room with terrace and truly enjoyed the spacious outside balcony overlooking the Ionian Sea- definitely worth the extra expense. The pool is a happening scene. Interior was typical FS flower show. Food was ok, not standout.

I have never been as sad as I was today when I left Taormina and my stay at San Domenico Palace ended. It is undoubtedly my favourite hotel in the whole wide world at this point. Firstly, the hotel itself is a masterpiece. The art, the plantations, the architecture. Secondly, our room was LOVELY, overlooking the Ionian Sea with a personal pool. Shout out to the housekeeping team for leaving us lovely gifts and for their terrific attention to detail - the rooms were impeccable thanks to them. For example, everyday we came back to our room to find our hastily left spectacles neatly put on a personalised San Domenico Chamois. Or our cable wires would be nearly wound up with a leather holder. It really is the small and big stuff, isn’t it, that makes the experience great? The food - oh my god - the food! The beef fillet! The Ragu pasta! The breakfast spread! The cannolis! Gorgeous green olive oil! Just the pure quality of food and the mastery of cooking will promise you no bad meals at San Domenico. Also - Panoramic views of the Ionian Sea during meal times! San Domenico Palace is a food lovers paradise. The biggest shout out to Mr. Dario Amoroso who is the restaurant supervisor who hosted us during all our meals at San Domenico - he is so good at what he does. A huge thanks to him for making sure we had the best meals, for making us feel like truly special guests…we will remember our time with him very very fondly. A true gentleman! And a shout out to Giulia Torrisi (part of the concierge team) for helping us navigate through Taormina with the best reccos and 24x7 help. Your energy is contagious, signora!! San Domenico Palace is an expensive stay. But it is so worth it. Worth every penny. So so so very happy with the service, the stay, the experience. Came because of White Lotus, stayed because it was truly perfect. Thanks team San Domenico Palace for everything. 11/10 recommend as I am sure you can tell.

Stayed here on a tour. The accommodations were satisfactory, but the walk downhill and, even more challenging, uphill made it difficult to go back and forth into Taormina itself. Many in our group struggled with it. The breakfast was very nice; loved the coffee machine!

This Four Seasons exceeded our high expectations. Taormina should be on everyone’s bucket travel list as it is so unique and Four Seasons have done a wonderful job upgrading this stunning property and offering excellent service. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. Housekeeping demonstrated excellence and left nice surprises for us. The gardens and pool are beautiful with views of Taormina and was. The bar and garden court are excellent and restaurants also noteworthy. The concierge desk helped with tours, boat charter, dining reservations and transportation. I also enjoyed an excellent massage at the spa. End to end service from bellmen to front desk, concierge, housekeeping, restaurant, bartenders and pools staff were excellent. When one of the pool attendants leaned it was our last day he delivered a special goodbye dessert. It’s small touches like these along with the fabulous property that made this a new favorite.

The hotel is gorgeous. The view from the back rooms is insane. The pool area is incredible but small for the hotel so hard to get a chair. Phenomenal breakfast and view off the balcony. Every single person gave excellent service. We loved the night bartender. She was hilarious. The gym was the best we saw in all of Italy. The first room we had was amazing view but weird in that no hanging clothes for my wife's dresses and no tub. They kindly moved us to a bigger room but not as good a view. We enjoyed hiking up to the mountain town behind Taormina. But overall the hotel and town are over run by the White Lotus impact. It is gorgeous and a cool spot. But we regret not branching out in Sicily since we not fans of big crowds and big groups at the hotel looking to take pics from the show. But the employees and hotel are great.

The most discriminatory Fours Seasons property in the world. Just 14 days ago, I and my husband were guests of Four Seasons in Seoul. I have been to many FS properties in the world. Many. But this one tops it all when it comes to treating potential customers and guests as paria. They denied us access to the property because we did not have a reservation at the bar. Our hotel Timeo Taormina tried to book us for the Michelin restaurant or at least for the bar. They replied they are fully booked. Just because of White Lotus TV series they have this absurd and discriminatory policy. I never ever heard a hotel open to public to deny access to consumers on the premises.

I was lucky enough to spend my birthday at the Four Seasons Taormina. They went out of their way to ensure it was a special and memorable day, I received more cakes than I could count! At breakfast, in the room, at dinner and amazingly the staff often stopped and wished me a happy birthday - that kind of personal service is really exceptional in such a busy place and it really made my day. The hotel itself was stunning. It felt like a real privilege to stay in such a historic building. The staff were exceptional, check in was great and the tour of the property was really interesting. At breakfast, Arianna was outstanding and deserves an individual mention. She was fun, chatty, gave great tips about things to do in Sicily and really made our morning (and afternoon when she served us at the bar!). The food across the board was faultless. The selection at breakfast was exceptional and we really loved the inclusion of Sicilian dishes and not just a standard american style breakfast menu. The bar snacks and dinner we enjoyed were also excellent. There is a good quality gym, the location for exploring Taormina is excellent and the concierge gave us some amazing tips for local spots to try the best arancini etc. A big thank you to all the team for making my birthday stay so special.

This is a simply breathtaking hotel in a converted monastery and made famous by series 2 of White Lotus. There is a sense of the history of the building everywhere with lots of original decor remaining. Even the door to our room was the original size that it would have been when the property was a monastery. There used to be lots to explore at the property, including beautifully manicured gardens, a spectacular swimming pool, courtyard, various lounge rooms and more. There used to be also a very well kitted out gym and a great choice for food and drink. We also enjoyed an amazing tour of the local area in a 1960s Fiat 500 which was an amazing experience. Our room was fantastic - a nice living area with sofa and two armchairs separate to the very comfortable bedroom with en suite bathroom. Breakfast was something to behold - a fabulous buffet offering a full range of fresh Italian food and Sicilian speciality dishes as well as an extensive a la carte menu with lots of choice. We enjoyed it on a terrace offering stunning views of Taormina. Service throughout was impeccable with a special thank you to Ariana who made our breakfast experience even more special with her interesting and fun conversation.
