On the whole it was a good experience. However I have been to this hotel several times but this time the food and restaurant service really disappointed me. The beach restaurant was not coping and in two separate occasions I had to wait over 1 hour to get served. They delivered the food as it came out of the kitchen and everyone had their meals at different times. On the second occasion, I waited for an hour and a half to get served very expensive lettuce with some fish. Even though the restaurant was almost empty. The staff should be honest and tell people they cannot cope for whatever reason and let customers go somewhere else. The staff just shrugged their shoulders when I raised my request of food. Perhaps this is the time to look for other hotels in the area.

AC in Rooms is super loud.
Food average - o.k. - but price very "ecxlusive"
had to ask daily about towels - most of the time, towels for room collected at Pool
Breakfast much more expensive than on booking confirmatoin 1.700 peso vs. 780 peso (2 Aduld + 2 Kids per day) on booking confirmation

The hotel is a bit outdated but the service in general is ok. The worst of all is the restaurant by the beach. Awful service and had to wait for one and a half hour to get my meal. Staff just very unresponsive. Food is not good and extremely expensive.

The property seemed like a 5-star resort from the outside and had some elements of it but a lot of issues as well.
The positive: suite was great overall, the pool was great, service overall was great and staff were super friendly. Nancy especially is a star and she fixed a bunch of issues we had ASAP.
However, we had a bunch of problems in our two rooms like the private pool wasn't clean, AC wasn't working so they had to switch rooms and the room service food was terrible. The hot tub also wasn't working. Also, at checkout they asked us to return all the pool towels which makes no sense since they were in the room anyway and room service could have taken them away.
