The hotel is quite old. Can see wear and tear every where. The room we stayed is quite spacious , there is no cupboard, instead provided with a no cover big steel rack. Cleanliness for the room is acceptable. Thankfully to a polite staff to upgrade our room to a more higher floor level so that we can see the good river view from the window . The location of the hotel is very good, we can go to a lot of eating house, coffee shop, foot street, night market etc .....to taste the traditional nice coffee and foods within the walking distance.

Good location and easy access to bus terminal, local foods and shops, wet market, dried seafood stuffs and fruits, plenty of local shoe shops are all within walking distance. Crossing roads outside the hotel may be a bit challenging. Overall a good value place to stay.

Stayed here because it is close to the bus station. There is some eateries (Chinese, Malay & Indian food) nearby though not much. However there are more options if you are willing to walk a little bit. The rooms have most amenities except no iron board or refrigerator. If you are staying for more than 1 night, do remember to remind the staff when they give you the key card as often they will only key in 1 day access only.

The receptionist allowed us to check in early as the room was available. We deeply appreciated this kind gesture as our mum is elderly. We booked a family room which had a wonderful view of the area and the river as there were many windows. Besides its accessible and central location, the drop off area of the hotel is sheltered which is also a plus point. The cleanliness is an issue but the location, view and service helped.

Best location; near to many nice eating places.
Just need a decent clean room and Muarar delivers.
Will definitely come back to satay here if go to muar.

Location near restaurant and places of interest within walking distance.
Parking very very tight and difficult to park. For SUV it is impossible while a hatchback car still needs someone to assist in the parking.
Bathroom is small and amenities are poor quality.
Room facing the main road and it is noisy.
Overall score: 5/10
