We shared a room with three people, one of which was only for one night. The room price was split and not per person per night. Far too expensive! Very rude staff and not flexible. The breakfast is minimal and is not refilled when something is finished. We will definitely not book the hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Our room cost €120 per night including breakfast. The room and the bathroom area were very small and not particularly inviting. The worst thing, however, was the breakfast buffet. We had registered for the "second shift" at 9 a.m. When we got to the breakfast room shortly after 9 a.m., the buffet had been cleared out, the "normal" rolls were only baked very poorly and were almost white in color. We asked for grain rolls. These were served to us 10 minutes later, still warm on the outside but still frozen on the inside, inedible. The buffet was finally refilled at around 9.25 a.m. (breakfast time was limited to 10 a.m.). We would not book this hotel again.

On our return journey from Dresden to Hamburg we needed somewhere to stay halfway. My wife found Schulzens on the internet and booked a room. I was surprised at the size of the house, with the attached brewery and restaurant, and we were given a map straight away. You can park inside in the courtyard. Everything was neat, clean, nicely decorated, friendly staff - all in all just good. The food was delicious and plentiful, and for breakfast there was a large selection of everything, including scrambled eggs and the like. Crispy rolls, coffee was good. I had no expectations beforehand, but the result completely convinced me. Great house, thank you for the pleasant stay.

The hotel and brewery grounds are located in the middle of Tangermünde's old town. The Elbe garden with its seating and beautiful elevated view of the Tangier and the Elbe is particularly recommended. The attached museum is also worth a visit. The people in the hotel and in the service area are extremely friendly and helpful.
