They don’t really make it clear on the booking page they are going to take a $100 security fee which is fine but then they say they’ll deposit it back the day you leave. We left on the Wednesday so the following Saturday I checked and the fee still hadn’t been deposited back and as I hadn’t heard anything from them/received no receipt or notification that they had deposited it back I called to check up. The person who answered was so patronising, I just said I hadn’t received the fee back and they went on a tangent about how it’s not their fault and then explained to me like I was a child that it had to go through my bank and they can’t get into my bank account because it’s illegal. I don’t understand why she couldn’t have just said we deposited it back it may take a while instead of getting so defensive. Motel itself is what you would expect, dingy, fridge makes loud noises which keeps you up, dated etc. Would be ok for an overnight stay but dealing with the staff and trying to get your security fee back is not worth it.
