I was fortunate to stay in Tangalle for a few days whilst travelling in Sri Lanka, and I was delighted with my choice of hotel. The property was well located a few minutes walk from the beach, and the accommodation was adequate, offering a decent shower, fridge and safe. Great views over the beach and a short walk to the town centre. Sandun was the perfect host, assisting me with suggestions of great beaches to visit, I recommend Silent beach close to the hotel, and his breakfasts were a welcome start to the day! Thank you to all at the Queens Beach hotel.

Great little hotel on the beach. All windows overlook the ocean. There is a nice beach nearby, where there are no waves. The rooms have everything you need: a refrigerator, a TV, a shower cabin. The cabinet is locked with a key. They clean up if you ask. There are ants roaming in the bathroom, but it didn't bother us. Pancakes, tea/coffee, freshly squeezed juice, toast with butter, eggs are served for breakfast.
