We had a wonderful stay at Uga Prava – from the warm welcome to the excellent service, everything was outstanding. The whole team is extremely friendly, always going the extra mile and creating a truly positive atmosphere. Spacious rooms, reliable Wi-Fi, and a beautifully maintained property made our time here unforgettable. What impressed us most was how every single staff member put in so much effort to anticipate and fulfill every wish – far beyond expectations and with genuine warmth.

We had a wonderful family stay at UGA Prāva. The sea views were absolutely stunning, and the food was fresh and delicious throughout. Service was warm and attentive. A piece of paradise on the beautiful coastline of Tangalle. A totally private spot with all the luxuries minus the fuss. We loved the contemporary architecture and interiors and the superb food. Excellent caring service from all staff. Thank you!

What an absolutely stunning villa! A boutique hotel with only 7 rooms and an infinity pool right on the beachfront, recently opened. The decoration is gorgeous, and you truly feel as if you are staying in your own private villa. Super luxurious and at the same time wonderfully cozy. The staff is just amazing – Ash and Khalee spoiled us every moment. And as the cherry on top, they surprised me with a birthday cake… the best birthday ever! A huge thank you to the whole team. Can’t wait to come back!

My wife, daughter (21) and were at UGA - Prava from 5th to 7th of September 2025 (2 nights). We stayed in the Horizon Suite. Our stay at Prava was absolutely awesome. The views from our suite, the pool and in general were breathtaking. The food was outstanding. All meals are off set menus. The Chefs offer some interesting and creative choices as part of their set menus. The service was great with a butler assigned for all your needs.

One of the most stunning hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in! The property is absolutely beautiful, with a serene atmosphere, a gorgeous pool, and breathtaking views that create the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The food was exceptional—easily a 10/10. A standout dish was the lobster roll with pol sambol, which was simply unforgettable! The staff truly made our stay special. Our butler, Prem, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Ash at the restaurant greeted us with a warm smile every day, adding a personal touch to each meal. And a special mention to Hari, the villa manager, who went above and beyond—especially with my grandfather. He took the time to chat with him regularly and made him feel genuinely welcomed and valued. A superb hotel experience from start to finish. We would return in a heartbeat and will be recommending Uga to everyone we know!

Great location and beautiful hotel, next to wild empty beaches and cool surfer cafes / beach bars. It had only recently opened on our visit so few things still coming together but it’ll clearly be good product. Huge pool for only a few rooms and proper standard western and modern sri lankan food, best we had on the island. Would definitely recommend.

Stunning property in Tangalle! Highly recommended for a getaway. The staff are very attentive and accommodating, great food which is customizable to any dietary requirements. The rooms are huge and comfortable.. with amazing views of the ocean. Lots of common spaces to relax. Love the vibe and interior of the place. Great property for a relaxing time away!
