Hotels near Minakata Kumakusu＇s Grave in Tanabe

We were able to use the facilities of Midori-ya, a sister hotel just two minute walk. The dinner and breakfast buffet was amazing, although it would be more helpful if they had English menu. The outdoor bath was the best I have seen in Japan, overlooking the beautiful river.

For a westerner this is a bit of an odd place. Its quite easy to list its deficiencies- there is no bar, no place to sit in the Sun and , I’m afraid to say, we did not find the food vey palatable. Elsewhere in Japan we have steered for the small local restaurants with no English menu - we’ve loved the food but not here. The best you can say about breakfast is that you can construct a bacon butty but as for dinner … well we had pot noodles in our room most nights. A question of taste I guess. Why 5 stars then? Firstly the staff are marvelous- went the extra marathon never mind a mile , simply the best. Secondly our Japanese style room high up above the river was fabulous with awesome views of the river and oodles of space. Even loved the futons. The outside onsen is a great place to chill, if that is the word for a hot spring even if you have to wear an item of clothing which is a cross between a kilt and a loin cloth and does little to cover your modesty. I searched for a hot spring inn by the seaside where I could stop by. There is no ♨️ on the map, you can pump it from the basement, and you want to stay at the hot spring! Here, ”Tenjin Onsen / Tanabe Motoyu” is a power-up hot spring, and the spring temperature 31 ℃, pH7.2, and sodium / hydrocarbon salt spring are listed in the composition analysis table of the posting. The room was a deep inn with Japanese, Western, wide and narrow, various dishes, and a single plan without meals. All rooms have ocean views, and the room I stayed in is single. Feel free to stay without meals and feel like a business hotel. A housing complex was built in the old Mera fishing port, and Motoshima was connected by a breakwater, and it seems that ferries and fishing boats passed just beyond the wave-extinguishing block like a waterway. Isn't there a few hotels so close to the sea? It was raining when I arrived, but it was Satsuki in the middle of the night. I wanted to capture a large ship passing through the Kii Waterway far away, but I fell asleep someday. When I look at it in the morning, the leaves of Motoshima Tree 々 are white. It seems that various bird droppings have fallen. By the way, when I opened it from the window, I heard a cry even in the middle of the night.

I went from the Koyasan side via the Ryujin skyline. I enjoyed the up and down of the road and the winding as I was scheduled to arrive before sunset. Unlike the appearance, it is easy to understand that the building is using a lot of local rich wood. The staff is friendly and polite, including the security or the room attendant who was looking around the building. All the rooms face the river but no sound from the outside comes in. The public bath is wide 々 including the dressing room, and the hot water can be spent without hot. Because the hot water in the shower is good, attention may be necessary when there is a person next door. Still, the shower has no automatic stop function and you can take a bath. The meal is a Viking, but you can feel that you are devised mainly on local ingredients and enjoy it. Especially, various tempuras were delicious. I wanted another taste in pasta and miso soup, so I made it a reduction point １. The view of the valley from the bridge entering from the national highway is also bad. The wooden dragon next to the entrance is a memorial shooting point. When you have a camera, the lady comes out and gives you a shutter.

酒店坐落於國人很喜歡的seamore對麪，離崎之湯好近，seamore麪海的房間都能看到崎之湯的海邊湯池，所以泡海邊池的時候小心走光。可想而知本酒店離崎之湯是好近的，巴士站也在隔壁，但不好的是此酒店坐落於小山坡上，出入要爬坡落坡，拿住大行李就辛苦咯，又無免費的車站接送車，而且無中文服務，而且前台的英文也不好，要藉助翻譯軟件，所以我無碰見國人入住，好少。不像對麪的seamore這麼多國人追捧。就因為在山坡上，風景視野絕對好，全部海景房，公共區域可能裝修過，浴池，酒吧都挺新，但房間就舊了些，房間有雙床和榻榻米，陽台正對海麪，下麪就是崎之湯的指示牌。圖一就是酒店和崎之湯的位置關係，白色樓就是酒店本體，在山坡上。圖二是陽台景色，全部房間都可以看到此景色。行去海灘也不遠，我清晨早起溜達過去大概15分鐘，吹着海風不熱很舒服，建議清晨穿着沙灘鞋，走去海邊踏踏浪，看看海鷗，回來7點崎之湯就開門了。

It was a family trip, twelve people formed a group, rented six rooms, the room can soak in the hot springs, while watching the sea view while soaking in the hot springs, very freehand. Because of the large number of people, I thought I would sit in the restaurant scatteredly. Fortunately, the hotel arranged a banquet hall (the kind of table that will be seen in ordinary Japanese dramas), everyone can talk to the same table and enjoy food. The service is also very thoughtful, I recommend everyone to live here.

An annex of ”SHIRAHAMA KEY TERRACE SEAMORE”. Check-in is in the main building about 100m away. The main building is full of resort feeling, but the annex was only a glimpse of the sea even though it had an ocean view. The rooms are compact and you can enter the hot springs in Seymour in the main building and have breakfast. This time, I made a plan with breakfast, but the buffet bread is also sold at the bakery in the hotel, so it might be good to buy bread and coffee and eat it. It's a little inconvenient when going to hot springs and meals, but considering the cost performance, I think it's enough here even if it's not the main building.

It's far away, but it's just in a good location to use a large bath and a self kitchen. Small children were together, but I was able to spend slowly without worrying about the surroundings. The room was cleaned well and the bed was fuzzy and comfortable. There is a refrigerator with a freezer. The washbasin and toilet are 2 by 2. The washroom of the open-air bath takes about 5 minutes to get hot water. The open-air bath in umeboshi is the size that all the families can enter and the children are very large. I was very satisfied. Apart from the open-air bath, there is a bathroom in the room. Outside the hotel There is a shower and faucet, so I think it will be convenient when it comes from the sea in summer. Self kitchen With everything, the oven toaster, microwave oven, dishes, spoons, chopsticks, children's tableware, lap and various things were important. The time was written at 7:00 〜 22:00. shampoo bar It is in the corridor near the public bath, and it is possible to put it in a small cup and take it. I went to the cherry blossom bath about 22 o'clock, but it was hot enough to not even put my legs. I thought I would have a little more temperature adjustment. It was a pity only for the public bath, but I would like to take care of you again with great satisfaction overall.

Key Terrace Hotel Seamore is a really lovely, modern and chic hotel in the south of Wakayama Prefecture. We stayed in a sea view room with Tatatmi area, and booked dinner at one of the two traditional restaurants within the hotel complex. First, the views are wonderful. Taking a relaxing moment at the infinity footbath, or a drink in the beer garden at night are absolute musts to enjoy the sights. You can also visit the underwater observatory, or use the onsen facilities. Some other reviews have mentioned, unfortunately, the place is surrounded by nature, and that means bugs. They're like cockroaches but not. If you're creeped out by things that scuttle, don't go to the outdoor onsen. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to Sandanbeki caves, and a five minute walk to the fisherman's wharf. A short car ride will take you to Adventure World. within the hotel there are lots of facilities for enjoying your night for families or groups of friends. There's also a karaoke room on the 3rd floor (book in advance). Dinner was phenomenal. We had a selection of foods from the region, including freshly caught abalone and a freshly prepared mackerel sashimi (the head of which they turned into a soup for us once the sashimi was gone). The buffet at breakfast has a mix of all Japanese standards and Western styles. There's also the delicious pastries of Tettei bakery inside the hotel if you wanna buy something for the drive back. Would go back and would recommend the hotel to friends who are looking for a great stay in Shirahama.

Thank you for every wonderful staff who served for us during my stay. Especially Mr Rajesh from the restaurant. He is really kind person. Hotel is situated in the peak of Shirahama. The building and facilities is modern. When we arrived the hotel, they will escort you to take the welcome drink first in lounge then the the lady receptionist will explain the facilities and show you the way to room. The hot springs is really comfortable and facing the town. Room is average as we booked the standard room but they do have rooms with balcony. Highly recommend! The dinner meal is served Italian and taste is yummy with quality. Morning breakfast is extremely delicious compared to other resort hotel. They serve fresh sushi, fruit, juice…… and separate three different sessions to eat. In summer, swimming pool is open to use & gym room is available. When we leave the hotel, two gentlemen help us put the luggages inside the car and farewell us until our car totally away from hotel. Really enjoyable the stay and recommend who come to Shirahama.
