The facility is really old, but they keep it clean. You would feel like you went back in time with the decor as well. The hotel hosts lots of events within the hotel to keep the guests entertained and they served Chamorro style dinner experience every other day. The portion of the food isn’t big, but considering it’s free, it was very tasty and enjoyable. It’s on the beach front the beach is not clean, although you can kayak to the small islands in front of the resort where you can see lots of fish. Location is far from the city center, I’m so you’d have to take the shuttle bus for 30min to get to downtown, or 15min car ride. There is a super market within walking distance so if you only want to buy food, it’s doable. The breakfast buffet was good. Menu changed daily and had Western, Japanese, and a bit of Korean food. I’d recommend this hotel to families with small kids, or young group of friends on a budget.

Before arriving, the hotel sent a letter requesting a list of the guests staying at the hotel. Without one, they would have to pay an additional $77.70 per person upon arrival. Fortunately, we were able to communicate with customer service and were able to avoid providing it without any additional charges. However, I was still a little worried about this hotel. Fortunately, everything was great after arriving. The accommodation was very good, but there were only two elevators due to the large number of people staying, and there was no staircase as an alternative. However, the breakfast was rich and varied. Although the weather was affected by the typhoon for two consecutive days, it did not affect the BBQ and beer tasting held in the hotel. It was very warm and relaxing, with complete facilities and services. We had a great time.

This hotel is very family-friendly with children. Both the breakfast and the water park are excellent in Guam. The surf pool is great, and you can learn to surf. However, the hotel's pool and water park are currently undergoing renovations, so the facilities are still a bit lacking. Beach lovers might be a little disappointed. The sand isn't very white, and there's a lot of algae and plants growing on it. The Westin still has the best beaches in Guam. The parking lot entrance sign is obscured, so first-time visitors often have to circle around it.

We stayed for five nights, and the kids were coughing because the carpet was dusty. I requested an upgrade to a different room, but they only charged an extra $130 per night. I went back three times and was denied every time. I thought they'd accept my request since I was staying five nights, but that wasn't the case. If I'd known this would happen, I probably wouldn't have stayed five nights and would have gone somewhere else. The water park was under construction, and they didn't even notify us, so we only used it for one day. Anyway, I don't want to go back.

I planned to stay overnight hoping to use the water park, but it was closed before check-in time at 3 PM, so I ended up paying the full day's fee. The water park is supposed to be open after check-in, but it closes at 5:30 PM, so it's not really worth it. There are no shops nearby, so I felt it would be enough to stay at another hotel and just go to the water park in the morning, and it wasn't worth the trouble.
