The facility is really old, but they keep it clean. You would feel like you went back in time with the decor as well.
The hotel hosts lots of events within the hotel to keep the guests entertained and they served Chamorro style dinner experience every other day. The portion of the food isn’t big, but considering it’s free, it was very tasty and enjoyable.
It’s on the beach front the beach is not clean, although you can kayak to the small islands in front of the resort where you can see lots of fish.
Location is far from the city center, I’m so you’d have to take the shuttle bus for 30min to get to downtown, or 15min car ride. There is a super market within walking distance so if you only want to buy food, it’s doable.
The breakfast buffet was good. Menu changed daily and had Western, Japanese, and a bit of Korean food.
I’d recommend this hotel to families with small kids, or young group of friends on a budget.

It was okay because it was a family trip.
Good points: We could play in the pool as much as we wanted. The ocean view was also good. It was nice that they lent us snorkeling equipment for free.
Characteristics: Most of the guests were Japanese.
Bad points: Not clean. Not luxurious. Even though the bath had a view of the ocean, the bathtub was dirty. The window was also dirty and had a lot of water stains, so it didn't look nice. There were also many remnants of the old Onward hotel. For example, the sign inside the elevator was still Onward. There were many other places that still had the Onward name. Is this really okay for Hoshino Resorts? I was impressed. It was spacious but old, and completely different from the Westin and Tsubaki.
Also, there was an incident where a swimsuit that was hanging in the bath was lost, and the housekeeper ended up taking it to the cleaning room along with the bath towels.
I would never stay here if I didn't have children. I was disappointed, and the breakfast wasn't that good either.
Tsubaki or Westin are definitely better!

The hotel's own water park is very good: 4 slides, 1 large slide similar to a pirate ship, 1 surfing pool, 1 rafting pool, 1 semi-indoor small warm water pool and 1 ordinary pool.
