Best Hotels in Tamraght Ouzdar, Morocco

This is my 2nd time staying here and I would never change. I cannot recommend this Riad enough. This place is incredible, I always travel alone and despite being off the beaten track, it offers incredible facilities and rooms. Tamraght is a small village but is developing and provides an excellent choice of restaurants, cafes and shops. It is also a stones throw away from the beach The team are incredibly helpful, nothing is a problem. I also loved the food here and opted to eat at the Riad most evenings. Servings are very generous and items are high quality too. The rooms here are breathtakingly beautiful. I’ve stayed in a different one each time and it’s incredible to think of what you get for the price. Early morning yoga was also on the agenda which they arranged and was the perfect start to each day. I’m already booking my next stay for early 2024.

Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting the Iris Bar at the opulent Fairmont Taghazout hotel and I must say it was an amazing experience from beginning to end The staff especially Wissal made sure my visit was perfect from the moment I arrived going above and beyond to make sure I had a great time Her genuine concern for her guests and her attention to detail really made a difference in my evening. The ambiance of Iris Bar is simply amazing with gorgeous views of the surroundings cozy seating, and a sophisticated yet laid-back atmosphere it is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy a drink Speaking of drinks the bar's cocktail menu is extensive and They offer something to suit every palette, whether you are in the mood for a classic cocktail or something more daring Each drink was meticulously prepared overflowing with flavor and made with high-quality ingredients.

The Hotel and Complex were pleasant, the grounds well kept with trees, fountains and hedges plenty of greenery. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a nice variety but on one occasion I noticed that the Chef tried the milk and then removed it!!! I had just eaten my cereal on which I had poured the milk, so was concerned that it might have caused an issue!! Although comfortable both our room and the Hotel could use a little freshening up, splash of paint. But as we just had the B&B option we were out most of the time Two pools both well kept and with plenty of room around for relaxing and a bar for food and drinks. All in all a good time.

A warm welcome with Moroccan tea, and staff very friendly, everyone who works in the hotel greets you, The breakfast buffet was very extensive paint sprayer, Moroccan tea, chefs so professionals you are asked with a smile what kind of fried eggs you want nice swimming pool, only the coffee was bad not drinkable everyone left their coffee standing, you could also drink coffee or tea in your room, but there was no milk powder I don't drink coffee without milk, the last one I almost had to pay Tourist tax while I already told Trip .com had been paid on the voucher including all taxes, later that was resolved and had a really nice day.

This is by far the oddest hotel experience of my life. The Hilton Tagazhoute is by far the nicest Hilton I've ever not stayed in, or certainly not completed a stay in. We had rented a lovely apartment almost next to the hotel and every day we went to either the beautiful Calypso club or the main hotel restaurants. Looking back through my credit card statement it was three lunches, one amazing dinner and three 'just for drinks & snacks' visits. We'd made friends with the staff, my son had been invited to surf with the waiters and we'd been treated like friends by everyone. As a treat for my last night I decided to book a room using some Hilton points. The idea was to enjoy the hotel properly and enjoy the room for a comfortable nights sleep. All going to plan and the hotel welcomed me even at 12.30...a bit cheeky, but I was genuinely excited to make the most of it. My room was amazing, sea view, super comfy bed and to top it all I was invited to a buffet on the terrace by the team. It started to go super weird about 2 hrs later when my son (who had been in the hotel 4-5 times already) came through the beach entrance and was pursued by a pretty grumpy looking security guard. He gesticulated and shouted that we must leave as we weren't guests and couldn't use the pool. An understandable mistake and it was easily rectified when I showed him my room key. All calm again. We went up to my room and at five o'clock we were treated to complimentary drinks in the bar, so far so amazing. We went out for dinner about a mile away and at some point I recall hearing some pretty loud music. I was hoping it was nowhere near the hotel but on arriving back it was obvious it was in the hotel grounds, full club music, light show, dancing. For additional context the Hilton is not a beach club vibe hotel and with average rates of over $250 a night not likely to attract a beach club crowd. We had some drinks hoping that as advertised the club would close at 11pm. By 11.30 it had only become louder and I knew I wasn't going get any sleep. At this stage I asked my son to wait whilst I grabbed my case. At this point the same security guard ran across the hotel lobby shouting at us to 'go to reception, go to reception' not entirely sure why. I packed my case and by the time I'd made it to reception there were 2 other guests complaining about the music. They were offered rooms on the other side of the hotel not overlooking Calypso where the music was coming from. It's now well after midnight and when I asked to check out I was told I couldn't and must either pay or get a different room. A bit of a stand off ensued with a further 2 guests joining the queue to complain. Finally my room was refunded and I had to walk back in the dark to our apartment, where, yes, ironically I could still hear the music! This has to be the oddest experience of my numerous Hilton stays. Still no idea what had rattled the security guard so much that he was so hostile

The staff was very polite and welcoming. Rooms were clean. There was a problem with the WiFi and they changed me to a different room with better WiFi. The internet speed of WiFi was not very great but it was okay. The intercom was not working in both the rooms I stayed in. The location of the hotel is good. It is close to the beach (just at a walking distance). For the taxi driver, it was hard to find the hotel. The prices of the food in restaurant were reasonable. But they took a lot of time to prepare.

We have only done city breaks in Morocco before and this was the first time that we visited to just chill out and get some winter sun by the sea. We loved the relaxed vibe at this hotel and would book again in a heartbeat. We felt really welcome even before we arrived because I emailed the hotel about something before we arrived and heard back directly from the manager Ikram. We were really impressed with her presence at breakfast each day, checking in with each and every group of guests, how was our stay, was there anything at all we needed. It was great to see a hotel manager to present, smiling and engaged one to one with guests. Deep bow Ikram! 🙏 The location of the hotel us superb, right on the beach, roaring ocean day and night, birds singing, just the sound of nature and peace. Our room was amazing, we really appreciated being able to retreat to a hammock when we wanted to. The pool is unheated which was fantastic. Really anti inflammatory, and we swam in it every day, had gorgeous weather. Beautiful 24/25 degrees all week. Breakfasts were lovely, full buffet of all you could wish for, eggs done however you want, fruit, meat, all sorts of breads and cakes, yoghurts, smoothies, Chia, flaxseed, dates, freshly squeezed orange juice, herb infused water. Really there is too much to say. But if you are looking for a happy place, with a kind and chilled vibe. And all sorts of people, couples, families, singles, mainly surfers and a few of us older guys and gals we can totally recommend this lovely gem of a hotel. Oh I forgot to mention the amazing Rosa and Naila in the hammam. Loved the hammam and the massages. Rosa really took care of me and it was so good for a painful injury. If you're thinking of booking this place don't hesitate and go for it! Just got home from having the most incredible time and wishing I was back there. All staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful. They treat you like family. The food was varied and generous portions. I enjoyed every meal. The room was basic but clean and spacious. The surf instructors Abdullah and Omar are excellent at what they do and work so hard to make sure you have a great experience. I was standing on day 1 and managed to ride quite a few waves by the end of our 4 day trip. We opted for yoga too and Olga did a great job of offering us exactly what we needed after a tiring day of surfing - fantastic Hatha sessions focussed on stretching and relaxation. The hotel is in a nice location for exploring some of shops and cafes around the village and only 10 minutes walk from the beach. Views from the balconies are fab. We made the effort to get up early to watch the sunrise over the mountains and were glad that we did.

The hotel inside is better, the room decoration is newer, the apartment next to it is too noisy, the roadside is near the road, the sound insulation is poor, and the price is very expensive, there is no sea. Just sauce.
