Dreamsea Surf Camp

Dreamsea surf camp made my experience here in Costa Rica completely unreal! The people you meet here soon become your family and make saying goodbye extremely hard. Most days there are activities, excursion and events on in town so there’s always something to do, and the staff and surf instructors and really helpful and friendly. I planned to stay here for 3 weeks as a volunteer and loved it so much I stayed for an extra week. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn to surf, experience Costa Rica, make new friends and have a good time. !

I arrived there and felt involved from the very first moment to everyone there, they start every day with a new introduction and also time to say goodbye to the others when they leave. it was set up very nicely by some friendly and funny staff, I was only there for two days because I was traveling through but had a lot of adventures with this nice group of people. However, it is really the most fun for people up to the age of 35 max, because it is often all a bit younger. Thnx for all the fun and adventure, next time i come back to catch a Nice ola 🌊🤙

I had a great stay at Dreamsea and would recommend to other travellers, especially those travelling on a budget. A friend and I stayed for 5 days in the Garden Suite (worth the extra money to have our own shower and to be indoors with air conditioning) but I would stay in the cheaper accommodation too, especially as food is included (which was always tasty!). There were 3 surf instructors, meaning the groups were small and we all got personal feedback and our room rate include the lessons and board rental. There was also a free shuttle every day to and from the beach. It does have a bit of a younger, party vibe so I think is more suited to that, however it is entirely possible to have a chilled trip here and enjoy it. Everyone at the camp was really friendly and we had a great time

Honestly one of the best stays i ever had while traveling. Such a friendly staff and super convenient in the downtown area. Rooms were clean on arrival. Felt safe the entire time and will definitely be back.

My friend and I had never been surfing before. We booked our lessons with Carlos who was extremely responsive and easy to contact on whatsapp. We had lessons today with Mariano and Tony. They were both great teachers. they were patient and encouraging and inspiring. We both managed to get up several times and loved the whole experience. Highly recommend Dreamsea Surf School.

My wife and I stayed here last week and had an absolutely unforgettable experience. We loved the camp and its surroundings, you really are in the jungle! The food was really tasty in the mornings and evenings and the excursions were really just so well put together. We met some truly great people including the staff and will absolutely return without as shadow of a doubt. Pura Vida!
