Hotel Telegraaf, Autograph Collection

Tallinn Old Town
The Telegraaf is a solid choice in Tallinn: centrally located, everything worked, and our jr. suite in the traditional wing was spacious, had good ceiling height, and operable windows. However, there was an unstable rubber floor in the shower that bounces, gives, and takes as you stand on it - doesn't seem very stable, particularly for a shower stall. There are a few things that make the hotel feel very dated and/or less than refined to me (swan napkins in the restaurant, faux-antique phones -- yes I realize it is a telegraph theme, but it feels gimmicky to me). It's also true that upkeep in the public areas needs a bit of attention: nicked and stained baseboards and paint in the corridors + dust caked up on the podiums by the elevator.
Radisson Blu Hotel Olumpia Tallinn

There are two stops to the Old Town and it is also very close on foot. The hotel is dominated by European and American guests, almost no Chinese, the swimming pool and Finnish bath on the top floor of the hotel and the old town of Tallinn. The breakfast is rich and the variety is complete, suitable for my Chinese stomach.
Park Inn by Radisson Meriton Conference Spa Tallin

I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel and had a mostly positive experience. The location is fantastic, being close to the old town, major tourist attractions, and a variety of restaurants. The highlight of the hotel is the Sky Lounge on the 26th floor, which offers stunning 360-degree views of the city. I highly recommend visiting at sunset and for night views – it’s incredible. The hotel also features a bar and a restaurant on the ground floor, and I appreciated the complimentary water bottles and the coffee and tea selection in the rooms. Hotel rooms are comfortable. Additionally, there's a small area near the reception where you can get free water, snacks, and fruits, which is a nice gesture not commonly found in other hotels. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they offer a free luggage room. The staff was really helpful throughout my stay. However, the room service was disappointing; the cleaner didn’t spend enough time cleaning the room or bathroom properly. On a positive note, we tried the spa, which is excellent. If you buy a coupon at the hotel reception, it costs €10, compared to €25 at the spa counter. The spa features a nice pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam rooms. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel and would recommend it.
Metropol Spa Hotel

The decoration of the room is typical Scandinavian style. There is a clothesline in the bathroom (look carefully at the white line in the first picture). The room is well ventilated. The thick socks and autumn clothes and trousers washed at night will dry after waking up I regret that I brought too much clothes. Western breakfast: bread, cheese (and blue cheese) bacon, cured fish skin, sandwiches, fruits, coffee, vegetables, juice. The surrounding shopping and special food are very convenient. The disadvantage is that there is no scenery outside the room window.
Movenpick Hotel Tallinn

One of the best if not the best hotel I've been to. Quiet and clean, we tried to find out what the wonderful smell is in the lobby, but there was no information about it. Everything worked in a hotel room, which is rare. I would give five stars, but a few details bothered me: the soap and shampoo bottles in the hotel rooms and in the showers in the spa area were stiff and difficult to use. In addition, spa is perhaps a bit of an exaggerated term here, because in practice it is a swimming pool and sauna area. The pool is small and at least on Saturday night the youth there were too rowdy (which is not the hotel's fault), more spacious during the week. The customer service was very friendly throughout, although in the breakfast room you sometimes had to point out the cleaning of the tables so that you can eat at them. Upscale Roof restaurant and good customer service. I see no reason to change the hotel to another one the next time I go to Tallinn. Hopefully then I will get the welcome drink that I would have been entitled to as a user of the phone app.
