Villa Kadriorg is a budget friendly hostel/hotel that is on a direct bus route to the old town. If not for major upgrade works to the tram network then I believe it would also be on the tram line.
I found my room comfy enough, if a little warm. It was a very warm few days in Tallinn though. Sadly, my room was right above a bar playing music until past 10pm. If you needed an early night to catch transport then that might be a problem.
There's free WiFi and a small shared kitchen. The shared showers were a little grubby, but I suspect that is to be expected. There was also a bit of noise from some of the younger guests after 10.
Sounds like I had a miserable stay but that is not so. Just be aware that the price will attract youngsters.
I'd say that Villa Kadriorg is good value for money and a fine place to rest a weary head after a long day walking around beautiful Tallinn.

I did stay here for one night. I have chosen this accommodation because of area and very affordable price. The hostel staff is very helpful. In the same building located Azerbaijan restaurant with really delicious food. The hostel located in walking distance to the central park of Tallinn. Supermarket Selver also in walking distance. The public transport stops just few meters away

great hostel. room was tidy. facilities such as shower and toilet in the hallway were neat and clean. The kitchen was also fine. The hostel staff kept everything clean. reception was also professional and cordial. As an alternative to a cheap hotel in the center of Tallinn, this is a great alternative

The property was better than expected - clean and relatively new upgrades in the room.
Some of the guests are thoughtless and somewhat taint the experience. They are sometimes too loud and don't clean up after themselves in the kitchen. Maybe another time with other guests might have been better.

Authentique , rassurant ,comprehensif , chambre très propre , accueil reposant,avec facilité d'accès. Cuisine , salle d'eau et toilette très propre commun .une halte reposante pour la russie.un service agréable et efficace ,demande de taxi , est un tarif raisonnable .

Lo peor fue que al ser tan aislado en verano no podíamos ni estar en la habitación, pedimos un ventilador y era tan pequeño que no hacía nada. Había insectos en la habitación y entre las sábanas. No había tv en las habitaciones, y los enchufes estaban fatal colocados. Todo estaba muy sucio, el baño siempre olía a pis, y en la cocina faltaba de todo. Otros huéspedes estuvieron con música hasta las 3am y el personal no hizo nada.
