The room was very clean and the staff went out of their way to be engaging. Both bars were very relaxing and the food hit the spot.

Disrupted sleep.
Overall it was ok. three things made it less than ideal. 1. there was a lot of debris generally in the lobby in the entrance. I suspect this was due to high winds blowing stuff in, but was surprised it wasn't tended better. 2. There was curdled creamer which messed up our morning coffee in the room. 3. (the big one) Our room was near (under I think) a meeting hall of some kind, and well into the night we could hear the very load noise of tables being dragged around and the loud voices of those resetting the room. That, for us, was pretty frustrating as it seemed unnecessary and made it very hard to sleep.

Not worth the money.
For the money, it’s not worth it. The roof-top restaurant is next door, the bellboy/valet guy won’t help you with your luggage, at least the guy last night didn’t. The girl at the check in desk had a personality of the wall and didn’t offer any information on the property. For example, didn’t tell us you have to use your card to use the elevator, where the restaurants were, or anything. Is clean and modern.

Comparable to many "downtown" properties
Beautiful, modern hotel. Check in was fast, although I did have to wait for valet to park car. As most city center properties, there was a cost for a cup of coffee or even a light breakfast. Room was spacious and well organized. Bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked ( a bit hard). For an overnight stay it was "Okay".

I loved this hotel! The furnishings were simple and elegant. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The staff were courteous and polite. The only I would say that I didn’t like was the limited menu for dinner at the lounge. However, the chickpea salad was AMAZING and my husband had the wings with the sliders and they were delicious as well.

I liked the fact you could not use the elevator without a guest card. The rooms were quiet and clean with a good view. Convenient to everything downtown Tallahassee.
