Pros - the room was clean and aircon fairly quite, staff friendly and helpful (at a price....), the bed wS comfortable. Cons - no hot water, no soap (you can but some from reception at an inflated price), noisy from outside traffic, charged 350 for ”upgrade” to change from 5th floor to 2nd floor as I am 70 years old (same room, different floor), no elevator, room small and pokey with a 12 inch gap on one side of bed. O would only recommend this hotel for a one night stopover.

I love the water dispenser idea to reduce plastic use. Can take hot, normal and cold water from the machine near my room 605. I felt so familiar when I decided to book a night here. When I went into the room I opened my email to see that I stayed once on 21 March 2019. Room is very large and comfortable although not new. The charming of the hotel and staff are still the same. Breakfast is set and simple. Restaurant is closed at 21:30pm so we had to walk outside to have dinner. Easy to find places to eat around the hotel. Near 2 Robinson malls at the roundabout and near a convenience store. Deposit 1,000 Peso. 7th floor has very high walls around so views are blocked. If they renovate, hope that they would make glass fences instead.

New building, nice and spacious rooms, they clean everyday and change towels. Refills of coffee and water. Complete amenities with your own kitchen refrigerator water kettle and dining area. Nice double beds. City view 😍 and nice swimming pool. They have great restaurant at the roof deck with great menu and 360 view of the city. Accomodating and helpful staff. It would be nice to be back.

Certainly! Our trip to Solea Mactan was an absolute delight from start to finish. Everywhere we looked, from the rooms to the common areas, was maintained with pristine care, allowing us to relax without any worries. The service provided by the staff was truly exceptional. Their dedication to ensuring guests' comfort and satisfaction was commendable and definitely added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. Speaking of amenities, Solea Mactan exceeded our expectations. The variety and quality of facilities available were impressive. The multiple big pools were a highlight, offering ample space for relaxation and fun. Whether we wanted to unwind by the poolside or take a refreshing swim, there was always a perfect spot to do so. Moreover, the value for money was notable. Considering the high standards of cleanliness, the top-notch service, and the extensive amenities provided, we felt that our experience was worth every penny spent. It's rare to find a place that offers such a well-rounded experience without breaking the bank. In conclusion, our time at Solea Mactan was nothing short of incredible. The combination of cleanliness, exceptional service, a plethora of amenities, and the excellent value for money made our trip an unforgettable one. It's a destination that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a relaxing and fulfilling getaway.

The cheapest hotel I could find. Stayed for 15 days. The rooms was on 4th floor nice and clean. I say rooms because halfway through our stay our air conditioning unit gave out so we were relocated(for free) to another room. The employees were all kind and willing to help with everything we needed. Location is nice. Almost next to Ayala mall and the general area is safe and easy to navigate/find transport in the form of either jeepney or bus. Decor is a bit gloomy and outdated. That beige on the walls is the only thing I disliked. It is by no means a 5 star hotel but it's a bargain for its price(15 euros a night) anyone would be stupid to pass. I recommend it to everyone who want to visit Cebu on a budget. We didn't taste their kitchen or visit the gym they have.

The place is nice and has many pools to choose. A kid friendly resort. I think the hotel should schedule maintenance to their rooms to make it more conducive to relax and sleep specially on the room accommodation we had, the T&B was a little bit smelly maybe there's a blockage on the system. The television is just antenna connection, no cable. The restaurant should extend more venue during breakfast to accommodate customers as fast as they can, not to wait a little bit longer in the lines. time is gold and not be wasted falling in lines just to get in the restaurant and to fall in line for the food inside.

From the moment we stepped into Bai Hotel, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The modern yet inviting atmosphere instantly put us at ease. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered breathtaking views of the city skyline. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, from their prompt service to their helpful recommendations for exploring Cebu. The variety of dining options exceeded our expectations, and each meal was a culinary delight. Overall, our experience at Bai Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and we can't wait to return.

We had a late and delayed flight but grateful the van (free airport shuttle) waited for us. The lobby was simple & check-in was easy. Before going up to our room, they asked us to get the amenities we need (dental kits, shaving kits & combs). We stayed at the Twin C Room, it has a big ref, kitchen sink, tv, microwave, dining table & chairs & 2 big beds. The bathroom was like the ones in Japan, compact & small. There were no cabinets too. The beds were comfortable to sleep on & the ac was working well. Breakfast was served in what was like a cafeteria hall, it was supposed to be plated but it was served buffet style, breakfast menu was simple. It changes everyday. Location of the hotel is superb & convenient because its connected to J Centre Mall and there were pharmacies, banks, convenience stores & a spa nearby. Happy to have our massage there. The hotel was also beside the Skywater theme park but unfortunately it was indefinitely closed. Checkout was easy too. They allowed us to leave our luggage because we have a late flight, we just came back for it. We weren’t able to avail of the free shuttle going back to the airport because we weren’t able to book a day before (it’s not automatic even if they have your flight information), good thing we have relatives to bring us to the airport. Overall, price was reasonable and we had a nice & comfortable stay here.

Plantation Bay is again my favorite hotel on Mactan. I was there August of 22, January of this year and just finished a stay in May. Here are some things to consider about Plantation Bay: - It’s the only large Filipino owned resort on Mactan and they must treat there staff incredibly well because everyone I spoke with has worked there 10+years - unlike other resorts they have a no tipping policy - The large salt water lagoons are beautiful and large enough that they never feel crowded - Plantation Bay offers a variety of food options for every taste - They have a wide variety of on site activities and offer multiple excursions outside the resort for reasonable prices To be fair there were a couple of things that could improve but those are minor - The beach towels need to be replaced. The bathroom towels are great but the beach towels were old and thin - During busy periods when you call bell service or guest relations the phone just rings with no answer. Overall though, this is the best place to stay on Mactan. Great service, unique activities, great staff, and some of the best swimming pools anywhere Here are some tips: - if you are not traveling with kids, the waters edge rooms are amazing. You can step from your deck directly into the lagoon - Consider the Route 66 Diner for breakfast. Good food and never crowded -A romantic dinner at Palermo’s is a great option on site - I paid the extra $50 to have a car drop us off and pick us up at our room and it was definitely worth it. You get checked in/out at your room saving time Highly recommend this great hotel
