Had a 60 minute Thai massage at Rosalyn Spa. Young Jee Five was my therapist. She was excellent - friendly and sweet with hands that gave my muscles a good working over! I chose medium which was still quite hard snd i get a remedial massage regularly so am used to a firm not relaxing massage, i would recommend light if you're a bit sensitive.

Stay in this beautiful resort only if you’re ready to be spoilt by the amazing hospitality of their staff. It’s located in the middle of nowhere, but that doesn’t matter as the resort itself has everything you’ll need. We took the all in package. Rooms are luxurious, very clean, very well kept. The resort itself is very well kept, pool, beach, bar, playroom. Very family friendly. Stayed here twice, both during peak (March) and low peak(June), both occasions felt very different, i personally preferred the peak, however one thing that did not change was the hospitality of their amazing staff! A special shout out to Kwan for professionally handling the tantrum of a hungry 35yr old (me). Great selection of food in their restaurants too. And when you need a laugh, Sit@Aon will crack you up. Will always come back.

If you want a first-class hotel holiday, this is the right place! The rooms are large and spacious, coffee, tea and water are refilled in the room every day. There is even a hairdryer, ironing board and iron, as well as the necessary bathroom utensils such as toothbrush, razor, cotton buds, etc. The complex is beautiful and everything is super clean. The pool is wonderful and as an alternative the sea and the beach are right next door. There is a restaurant, gym and massages by the pool/beach. The children are well looked after in the kids club with a changing offer and there are also offers for the older ones. Children from 4 years of age are allowed to stay there alone, otherwise at least one supervisor must stay with them. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The staff is very friendly and there is a lot of joking, especially with the children. The only disadvantage for us was the location, only a small supermarket and an ATM in the next hotel are within walking distance. There are alternatives to the delicious hotel food within walking distance across the beach, but if you like a bit of variety and want to stroll around in the evening, you should look for a more central hotel. Otherwise, there are shuttle buses to the nearest market and to the town of Khao Lak for a fee, which takes around 30 minutes. Unfortunately, you cannot book a Grab in this region. There is also an excursion counter and a shuttle bus to the airport, but you can also book them directly on the beach for a little less money.

Despite being a long way out of Khao Lak, (one of the last hotels, 15 mins out) it’s worth going the extra distance. Staff so friendly and helpful; everyone in the hotel. Our poolside room was wonderful-space to relax and slip into the water and also spa jets whenever we liked. The big pool with bar near the beach was also a pleasure to be at. The food for breakfast and dinner was delicious and they catered for my food allergies very well. They gave options for level of spiciness for the Thai food. I had an injury and the late checkout til 6pm they provided for me was a final bonus. Highly recommend

This is a small, extreme friendly, full of character, beautiful hotel. Built up a steep hillside in dense rain forest, this isn’t all about a panoramic view from every room, it’s about atmosphere. Our room was a large villa suite up the hill and we couldn’t see the sea (though we faced it), but we were high in trees and it was a sanctuary. To keep the tropical vegetation as it is, not clear it to make space, is a choice the owners clearly made, and is a great one. The walk back to the room each night through the gorgeously lit forest, across raised bridges and walkways, was a highlight. Down at sea level it IS about view. There is a large pool, bar and restaurant, with a pond too. Orchids in trees. Lots of sunbeds, both on beach and by pool. This is the nicest stretch of the whole beach - uninterrupted sand whereas it gets rocky further along. The sea is perfect for swimming. Breakfasts are great, lots of choice, and evening meals are good too, served at tables on the beach. We actually had many meals next door at the Bamboo beach restaurant, which served (among other things) AMAZING Thai curries. Staff are so friendly in the hotel. Happy hour is a treat. The shops and more bars are a 10 minute walk along the road. Good supermarket. Cut left (at the supermarket) to access the beach and walk back that way. A superb 5 night stay to end two weeks in Thailand. Highly recommend.

Firstly, let me say that this review has nothing to do with the wonderful Thai staff who was incredibly helpful, friendly and no mistake (the owner was actually far abroad during his stay) We thought we would stay elsewhere, since two of our four visitors canceled the last minute but asked for a reduction in the percentage. They offered 2000 baht from the total of 15000 THB, which was better than nothing but much less than expected given the despair of the tourism industry in the middle of the coronary pandemic. In addition, they reduced room prices by almost half immediately after the reservation. Then, although the confirmation we received from booking. com showed that the property accepted ”Visa, Euro / Mastercard” as payment means, they told us that they did not actually receive card payments, So we ended up paying an extra $22 AUD at ATM fees so that we can withdraw enough cash to cover the full cost. But the ”deluxe 2 br villa” we stayed in was overvalued enough for what it was, and I would certainly not recommend staying here. The only good thing we can say is that it was spacious. Came here with the group purchase package, and the experience was great. Located on Khao Lak Beach, it is suitable for friends who are going to Similan, but it is very inconvenient if you want to go to Phuket Town and the three major beaches. It takes an hour to drive from the airport. We rented a car and there was no traffic on the road. There are no large shopping malls nearby, so you can consider going to the surrounding area for massage. The service is very good.
