Nest Iriomote

I had made a reservation for 4/30-5/3, 2022. My father passed away on 4/13, 2022, making it impossible for me to travel, and I consulted with the owner on 4/14, 2022 about canceling the reservation, but they said that they could not accommodate my request for any reason, and that if I canceled, I would have to pay the full amount of the accommodation fee, or 111,000 yen, as a cancellation fee. I think that even if my reservation is canceled now, there is a very high chance that another reservation will come in. I wonder what this owner would think if he was told the same thing when his parent passed away. I wonder if he would think that it couldn't be helped. Before I think about business, I wonder what kind of person he is. No matter what happens, I will never stay at a hotel with such an owner again, and in order to prevent more people from falling victim to this kind of damage, I would like to tell everyone I know that he is a person with such humanity, or rather, a person without a shred of humanity, every time I have the opportunity.

It's a very good hotel. There are only 3 rooms, so it feels private and quiet. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming, everything is clean, and the facilities are new and comfortable! The towels were Imabari towels. The room was spacious, the bath was nice, and the beer by the pool at night in the room was especially great with the music from the bar. Breakfast is also available upon request, so it's hard to find anything bad about it. At this price, it feels like a great deal. I will come again if I come to Iriomote Island! thank you very much.
