The hotel staff and shop owners are all very cordial in their service, so you can have a great time. The residents of the area of Kanritsu, where the hotel is located, are also very kind. As I was leisurely looking at the coast in front of the hotel, a local resident came by and talked to me and explained about the coast. I recommend this place to those who are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city. The chirps of the birds from the jungle-like trees, the deep green scent that goes beyond negative ions, and the spectacular views of the coast all make for a soothing trip.

It was my first time staying on Iriomote Island. I stayed for two nights, and the owner couple were very friendly and my first impression was good. However, the cook was absent, so dinner on both days was a bit... If I had known about this beforehand, I could have booked somewhere else. However, when I saw the couple working hard to serve the guests, I lost that feeling and thought that they must be struggling with a lack of staff. Apart from this, it was a comfortable stay. The view was nice, it was quiet, and it was a good hotel.

2022年の9月3連休×2の後半に３泊4日で宿泊しました。 評判通り、ホスピタリティが最高でした。 一例ですが、行き帰りで重いスーツケース×２を運んでもらえました。大きなホテルならまだしも小さいホテルで人手も足りなはずなのに、です。また帰り際に大きなゴミも処分してくださいました。 このホテルの魅力はホスピタリティだけでなく、夕陽や星空のきれいさにあります。夕陽を見るために毎日サンセットタイムまでにホテルに帰ってきていました。夕陽は部屋からもレストランからも屋上からも見れます。ホテル星立は西表島の最西端の海岸沿いにあり、日本の西側海岸沿いにあるホテルの最西端のホテルとなります。本州と1時間ほどのサンセットタイムの時差があり、夏を感じさせてもらいました。 星立は周りに明かりが無く、星空も大変きれいでした。浜辺で半時間ほど寝そべって眺めていました。もちろん屋上からも同様に見えます。 初日の夕食に星立ステーキを注文しましたが大変美味しかったです。 一点だけ気にかかったのは朝食が3回ともほとんど内容の変更が無かった点です。朝食を重視する傾向は年々増していますので考慮された方が良いかと思います。 しかし、ホスピタリティや環境の点で上記補っていたため、評価は5点とさせて頂きました。また機会がありましたら利用させて頂きたいと思います。
