Resort Inn Iriomotejima

We visited Iriomote Island to see the seasonal flower, the barringtonia. It was conveniently located near Uehara Port and shops. The toilets and showers were new and clean. Overall it was very clean, but there was dust on the protruding part of the wall near the head of the bed, and the room had not been wiped down perfectly. The front desk was open until 10pm, so we thought we could use the microwave, but it was locked after 9pm and we couldn't use it. It was disappointing. The front desk staff were very helpful.

This was my first visit to Iriomote Island, but I had a very comfortable stay. The room was spacious and had two double beds, so even one person could rest comfortably. I also recommend it for families with small children. After playing in the sea, it was very convenient to have a foot washing area, washing machine, and drying space. It was also helpful that it was close to Uehara Port and within walking distance of the island's only supermarket. For dinner, we could use a restaurant with shuttle service, and the food was delicious no matter where we ate, so we were very satisfied!

It was close to Uehara Port and clean. The room was in a building so I couldn't hear the noise from the next door and it was comfortable. I was glad that I could use the washing machine for free. I'd like to stay here again.

Being able to walk from the ferry terminal was very convenient. I rented a bicycle to kill time, but the island had a surprisingly steep ups and downs, so I wish I had rented an electric bicycle. The room was new and had everything I needed, making for a comfortable stay.
