Best Takayama Spa Hotels

The hotel is only 1 block across the JR station with many restaurants around the area, less than 10 minutes leisure walk to the historic area. Room is very well maintained and spacious, with comfortable beddings, strong showers. The hotel is very responsive with my emails and questions, I feel that they are really trying their best to accomodate my request with occupant change that we really appreciate. From the time I arrived by car to the time I checked in, I felt a welcome hospitality. There was a coffee service in the lobby lounge. The room was a room plan, and it was a Japanese room ８ tatami & wide edge. In the inn, as I spent almost on the wide edge with a chair, the window was small facing the parking lot, the ceiling was diagonal, and the head hit the threshold, so I said this room might be a translation. Genuine Japanese style accommodation in an Onsen. Facilities are limited but one encounters Japan like no other. Admitting that sleeping on a mattress next to each other is not for everyone and so might be the public shower in the Onsen. Shuttle bus to the city is needed as its quite far from the city centre. Luggage storage is very limited. Curfew at 11pm without exception.
