Ein sehr nettes Hotel, welches erst seit 1 Jahr in Betrieb ist, und in den Bergen liegt. Die Zimmer sind sehr hell und modern eingerichtet. Dort waren wir für 2 Nächte während unserer Rundreise untergebracht. Das Frühstück war nach japanischer Art und wurde am tisch serviert, was natürlich etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig war, aber trotzdem sehr gut war.

Hotel is in a very good location being very near to the Old Town where the attractions and restaurants are. However there is limited parking space, and we had to park in a public car park 100m away. Staff were friendly, but communication was a little difficult as they were not very conversant in English. Overall nice hotel.

Muro-San and everyone is very friendly and helpful. They make you feel good and happy. The housekeeper was helpful too. Even though we do not understand what we were trying to say, they bothered to explain and even took out a translator so that we can communicate with better communication. Our needs were fulfilled. Just returned from a 12 day tour Treasures of Japan with Mercury Holidays, we stayed at this hotel for two nights, excellent hotel very clean and comfortable with everything you needed for your stay, you can enjoy the hot spring baths the ladies and gentlemen go separately as no clothing is worn, breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice, staff very friendly and helpful, the hotel runs a shuttle service into Takayama you are given a time table on arrival, a supermarket is just over the road from the hotel, we enjoyed full days sightseeing around Takayama with our guide Inage, enjoyed our stay would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Takayama Station. The soup house is relatively small, there are free bicycles to use, small gifts to leave the store, and a taxi was also called for help.

The hotel is only 1 block across the JR station with many restaurants around the area, less than 10 minutes leisure walk to the historic area. Room is very well maintained and spacious, with comfortable beddings, strong showers. The hotel is very responsive with my emails and questions, I feel that they are really trying their best to accomodate my request with occupant change that we really appreciate. Breakfast is adequate with a good selection of hot dishes, Japanese and continental. Overall a great hotel in Takayama

This is a ryokan built in 1850. It is located next to the river and opposite the Honkoji Temple. It is a 3-5 minute walk to the core attractions such as Baibi Tuzang Street. Dinner was set for one night at 8,800 yen per person, which is the most expensive and most hearty meal in Japan. At dinner, the hotel thoughtfully took a picture for us, and the photo will be given away at breakfast the next day. The hot springs open from morning to night.
