Residence Hotel is one the best hotels we've stayed in starting from the welcoming staff, especially Kato, who went above and beyond to make our stay a comfortable & an forgettable one.
Our room was simply amazing, with beautiful views.
The location was so convenient, right next to Takayama Station and Nohi Bus Terminal.
There's a washing machine to do your laundry.
We would definitely stay here again and will highly recommend family and friends to stay here when in Takayama.
Arigato Gozamaisu Kato and staff, we hope to return one day in the future!!

We were greeted with warm welcome. Staff is friendly and hotel is clean with all the needed services. It’s also a stone away from the bus interchange which makes the travel so much easier especially when you came back from the other sight seeing activities . We would be back to this hotel when we come back again.

3. Convenient location, walking distance to JR Station
4. Stunning train views from the room
5. Spacious bathroom, perfect for relaxation
6. Room: Spacious, perfect for relaxing and unpacking; ample space to open big luggage, no clutter
7. Surrounded by food stalls, convenience stores, and bus stops for effortless exploration
8. Adjacent to bus station and shopping options
9. Walking distance to halal hida beef, morning market
10. Convenient bus access downstairs to: Gattan go bicycle, Shirawago
11. Fully-equipped big kitchen for self-catering
12. Washing machine cum dryer for laundry convenience
13. Daily top-up of washing soap pods
14. Separate toilet for added privacy
15. Balcony with sliding door: soundproof and perfect for relaxation

The location is just next to Nohi Bus Station as well as JR station. Takayama is a small town, so walking around is easy.

Serviced apartment style. Fuss free check in, staff able to speak good English. Size considered big as compared to others. Have a washing machine + dryer in room, very convenient! Have microwave, huge fridge and a decently equipped kitchen to whip up a simple meal. Location is excellent as well, within 5mins walk fr JR stn.

Good location near the station and spacious room with washing machine and a kitchen facility. Note that there is only one small elevator serving the hotel hence you may need to wait or take the stairs.
