We stayed here on November 3rd with my two daughters. We got caught in a huge traffic jam on the way and arrived more than two hours later than planned, so we regret not being able to enjoy the Dandelion Coffee that we were looking forward to. We were able to spend time in a space filled with flowers that let you feel the season and listen to the landlady's calligraphy poems, just as I had heard about them when my second daughter stayed at the hotel 20 years ago. I regret not coming sooner. It was a hectic two-day, one-night trip, but it became a memorable experience to visit the place where my daughter had been working hard. Thank you very much.

Every year around the end of January or the beginning of February, I go skiing with my wife for one night. Last year, I stayed at a ryokan in Hirayu, so this time I decided to ask Mr. Maki, who has a high review score even in Shin-Hirayu Onsen. Along the street of the hot spring town, next to Unatei, it has a cozy appearance with a total of 6 rooms. The parking lot is a style that fills in columns from the first comers in front of the building, and the key is left at the inn. A young gentleman greets you and checks in while having a drink on the sofa in the lobby, which is elegant. At this time, you will also make a reservation for the usage time of the two private open-air baths. All guest rooms are on the 2nd floor and must be accessed by stairs. From the landing in the middle of the stairs, the passage leading to the bath is separated from it. You can see how crowded it is by the number. The room I used was a tatami room with two beds. Furniture and lighting fixtures are soothing with folk art style. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. There are indoor baths for 3 to 4 people and open-air baths for 2 to 3 people, and there are 4 washing areas. (Information about the men's bath) The hot water is clear, but the reddish flowers are floating, and it is a good quality with a faint sulfur-like scent. It's great for tired legs from skiing. The private open-air bath is located 1-2 minutes up the passage between the inn and Unatei, and there are two separate dressing rooms and baths. It was just snowing heavily, but it was the best snow viewing bath because there is a roof. The room and bath are both very good, but the food is also amazing! The main dish is A5 shabu-shabu, but there is no choice but to drink, such as meat, wild vegetables that are torn by hand, many local dishes, and exquisite salt-grilled char. For about 30 minutes after eating, I felt like my stomach was bursting and I couldn't move. I only saw two staff members, the proprietress and the young husband, but both of them are really kind people, and they keep a good sense of distance without being intrusive or neglecting. Relaxing gifts made by the proprietress are placed in the room and dining hall. It is a valuable inn that my wife, who has used it once, never wants to go back to, said, "I would like to stay here again next year." Thank you very much for your help.
