This has been my worst hotel experience in Japan. I booked the most expensive luxury suite but received the poorest service.
The bathroom had no designated basket for used towels and yukata, forcing us to place them under the sink. Next day we returned to my room, I found the used towels and yukata still lying on the bathroom floor but the rest of the room having been cleaned.
When I inquired at the front desk, a male staff responded that the housekeeping team was concerned 'we might reuse the yukata left on the floor." What an absurd explanation! When I further asked where should we place the used yukata for replacement, I was shocked to be told to "just leave them on the hallway floor outside the room."
I couldn't believe they expected guests to place personal garments in a public hallway! The front desk staff acted as if this were completely normal practice. At this point, I no longer felt comfortable wearing the yukata at all. I will never stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. The complete lack of basic service standards and hygiene consideration for a supposedly luxury accommodation is utterly unacceptable.
這是我在日本住過最差的酒店體驗。預訂了最貴的奢華套房, 卻得到最差的服務。房間浴室內没有任何可擺放使用過的毛巾和浴袍的籃子,所以只能放在水池下方;第二天回到客房後卻看見使用過的毛巾和浴衣仍然放在浴室地上,而房間其他地方是已經打掃過的。前往前台詢問,一位男職員面無表情的表示打掃員工是擔心我們會再次使用地上的浴衣?非常可笑的理由! 再詢問使用過的浴衣要放在何處才換知道要更換? 得到的回覆居然是直接放在房間外走廊的地上!! 不敢相信這麼貼身的衣物居然要我直接放在公共走廊的地上? 但前台員工一臉非常正常的樣子, 這浴衣我是不敢再穿了! 這酒店我也不會再入住, 也不會推薦給任何人。
