For better or worse, it feels like a Showa-era business inn. If you value value for money, it's fine. The refrigerator was super small and I didn't notice it at first, but I found it after reading the reviews. As everyone has written, the breakfast menu was rich and satisfying. I thought the guests were mostly elderly, but there were also families and young men. I recommend it to people who don't care about cleanliness or fashion.

The location is very good, you can see this hotel from the second floor of JR Takasaki Station (dark orange exterior wall). Just walk along the road in front of the station for a few minutes. The place is a little old, but it is very clean and has everything it should have. My room is the first one in the corridor. It is very spacious, with two windows, a separate bathroom, and an interior structure like that of a Japanese home. The bonus was the free breakfast, a Japanese buffet with rice, miso soup, salad, grilled salmon, fried pork, ham, coffee, etc. I plan to stay in this hotel if I have the chance to visit Takasaki in the future.

I was on the second floor so I couldn't see the view, but that's to be expected.

Although the name is a business hotel, it is actually a homestay. The quilt looks old and not clean. The sound insulation is not good, I heard the next door sneeze all night.
