The onsen and hotel room was decent and clean, onsen runs all night which was great.
However, the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, with the nearest convenience store 30 minutes drive away and the nearest family restaurant 45 minutes drive away. We arrived at 8.30pm and no food was available anymore in the hotel, or anywhere near the hotel.
Driving at night was also quite scary, down the windy and unlit roads.
Hotel staff could not speak English. We tried calling the hotel to inform them we would arrive late due to road conditions, and to request for 1 hour later check out, but they struggled to understand. They denied the late chack out strictly as well.
The views were pretty though :)

It was quite good, and the food was very enjoyable. The cleanliness and environment were excellent.
The facilities were a little disappointing. The outdoor hot spring was a bit small, only accommodating two or three people at most, which was not what I expected.
However, there were free and paid massage machines outside the hot spring, which were a great place to relax and unwind.

The service of this hotel is very good. Because the road on the mountain is icy, it is impossible to ride on the bicycle. It is still more than ten kilometers to the hotel and it is already dark. I have to retreat to the convenience store near the foot of the mountain and call the hotel for help. There is a waiter who understands English. After asking the clerk to explain the location to them, he immediately sent a car to pick us up and take us back to the hotel. Even though it was already after 8pm when we arrived at the hotel, dinner was still prepared for us! After checking out the next day, we were sent back to the convenience store to pick up the car. This kind of hospitality will definitely make you come back next time!

It was very tiring and frightening to go on the small mountain road at night. There was no one checking in at the counter around 10:00 at night. The room was big, the hot spring bathroom was big, and the Japanese breakfast was good
