The upper floors are dormitories, and there seems to be a coin laundry in the middle. I used the twin on the hotel floor, but the room seems to have been renovated recently and the room is clean. The size is minimal, especially the unit bath is extremely narrow, so if you use each toilet, washbasin, and bath, you may be in danger of hitting your feet and head if you don't devise a little. There is a Lawson convenience store downstairs. The hotel is on Central Avenue, opposite the bustling commercial street. The hotel is conveniently located in the busiest area of ​​Takamatsu. There are pedestrian streets and department stores next to it. The room is large but also very old. There is no way to adjust the air conditioning temperature. There is only heating in winter. There are not many choices for breakfast but it tastes very good. Highly recommended!

This was my fourth stay at the JR Clement, and I keep going back because it's always a good experience staying there! This time I booked a more spacious room, the deluxe double, which had a great view across the city to the mountains from both the bedroom and the bathroom, with the sea and cute island of Ozuchishima visible to the right. In the past, I've had lovely views of the port and castle from smaller rooms. I think all the rooms have views of some sort. The bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean and well-maintained. It was nice to have a larger space with a bigger desk, plus a small table and easy chairs by the window. There was a generous daily allocation of toiletries (in packets rather than bottles which was good) - loved the lavender bubble bath, and the Olive Energy products were excellent. The hotel provides a daily newspaper as well. The staff are always knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. I didn't eat in the restaurants (I think there are three), but don't miss the delicious cakes and pastries from the in-house bakery! The location is perfect, at Takamatsu Port two minutes from the JR Station, and across the road from Takamatsu Castle/Tamamo Park and Takamatsu-chikko Station. There is also a busy bus hub (including for airport buses) and taxi rank. Many shops and eateries close by. It's lovely to walk by the sea without having to travel to do it. Great sunsets! From the port you can catch ferries or fast boats to Naoshima, the other the art islands and Shodoshima. It's about a 2km walk to my favourite garden, Ritsurin Koen, or you can catch a train from Takamatsu-chikko. Already re-booked for this year!

The second time I stayed here, the service was very good. The front desk staff are very nice. The child spilled the juice on the floor, and the two receptionists knelt down to help us mop the floor clean. The location is great, you can walk to various places to eat and buy. It is recommended to stay here when visiting Takamatsu City.

The station and shopping street were also convenient. When I contacted you with a water heater error, I was grateful for your polite response even though it was midnight. However, it was good to have a washing machine and dry the bathroom, but it was a little inconvenient to bring it because there was no clothesline and there was no big hanger to dry the bath towel.

Accommodation is a small gift, female friends like it, soaking up too little time (because there is only one room, exchange between boys and girls), and the space is very small, making people breathe and change oxygen a little tired. The room space is also very small, two people's luggage is opened, almost full of aisles; Breakfast is rich, semi-self-service, things have to be cleaned by yourself. But it is very close to the station and it is very convenient to take the bus.
