This hotel, conveniently located next to Takamatsu Station and offering breathtaking views of the Seto Inland Sea, combines comfort, luxury, and exceptional service in a way that makes it a top choice for both leisure and business travelers. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the hotel’s elegant exterior and welcoming atmosphere. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, handled by friendly and professional staff who made me feel right at home. Their ability to converse in multiple languages was a notable plus, especially for international visitors like myself. The room I stayed in was nothing short of spectacular. Spacious, well-appointed, and featuring a contemporary design, it provided a perfect blend of functionality and comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights of the room was the panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea, which was especially stunning at sunrise and sunset. The breakfast buffet at “The Dining” offered a wide variety of both Western and Japanese dishes, all of which were fresh and delicious. The sushi at “Seto,” the hotel’s Japanese restaurant, was some of the best I’ve ever had, prepared with the freshest ingredients and utmost care. The staff at the restaurants were attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall dining experience. One of the standout features of JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu is its array of facilities. The fitness center is well-equipped and maintained, allowing guests to keep up with their workout routines. I also took advantage of the hotel’s spa services, which were incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The massage I received was one of the best I’ve experienced, leaving me feeling completely refreshed. Additionally, the hotel’s rooftop bar offers a spectacular view of the city and the sea, making it an ideal spot to unwind in the evening. The hotel’s location is another significant advantage. The room is not big, the window cannot be opened, and the smell of smoke is too strong. There is no bottled water in the room, you need to get it from the water dispenser in the corridor. The cleaning staff did not put the sticker on the door out in time because they did not understand Japanese, so they had to go to the front desk to ask. Transportation, meals, and the pier are still very close, very convenient

The room feels big among Japanese city chain hotels, at least it can open two 20-inch suitcases. The facilities and toiletries are very complete, and cute towels, slippers and toothbrushes are specially prepared for children. The bath towels are very thick, and the pajamas are of good quality. I want to buy some to take away. The bed and pillow are very comfortable. The front desk speaks good English. Although the operator didn't speak English when I called before😅 I didn't have breakfast in the hotel. There are too many delicious foods around. The two teammates bought a lot of snacks at the convenience store. The mermaid bread downstairs is also very good. You can buy freshly baked bread when it opens at 8 o'clock😋. It is about 1.5 kilometers to Ritsurin Garden, a 15-20 minute walk, and there are many buses for 3 stops. The transportation is very convenient to everywhere, and the airport bus pick-up point is also nearby. I want to stay here next time I come to Takamatsu. Location: Excellently situated adjacent to a shopping arcade, with convenience stores conveniently nearby. Service: The reception staff are accommodating and helpful. Tidiness: The room was maintained in a clean condition. Accessibility: The hotel’s location ensures easy access to public transportation, making it a breeze to explore the surrounding area.

２ mid-middle, ２ night ３ day Shikoku trip, １ night I disturbed my wife. The location is located in the downtown area of Takamatsu, about ５ minutes walk from Kotoden Kawaramachi Station, there is a large shopping center nearby (next to the next), and there is a convenience store at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient. It is easy to understand if you use the red brick color appearance and the large cat object as a marker. There is no parking lot, and if you use a car, the parking lot of the adjacent shopping center (Marugame Town Green) is a affiliated P, so you will be asked to discount at check-in. The front desk, lounge and restaurant are on the ２ floor, and breakfast is served here. ３ The lower floors above the floor are the hotel floors. The upper floors are dormitories, and there seems to be a coin laundry in the middle. I used the twin on the hotel floor, but the room seems to have been renovated recently and the room is clean. The size is minimal, especially the unit bath is extremely narrow, so if you use each toilet, washbasin, and bath, you may be in danger of hitting your feet and head if you don't devise a little. Even if I was １７３ centimeters tall, I thought that my knees would stick to the wall when I sat down, and if a large foreign traveler used it, I would have a hard time. On the other hand, I was impressed with breakfast, and instead of the busy place that is often found in business hotels, the restaurant with a wide 々 and space has a rich buffet menu. In addition, each item was devised, and I was able to have a delicious and comfortable breakfast. The staff were young and kind. There is also a service to provide tea brewing for midnight snacks. It would be a good hotel for young people, business use, and solo travel. Thank you for your help.

I travelled with a group and wanted another room. I asked for one and was told there were none available. I subsequently went upstairs and and checked Trip.com and found the room. The staff lie, not a very good welcome. Won't stay again because of this.

Stayed there for a night and we enjoyed the area. The hotel itself is very simple but great for a night. If you driving like me there a few parking lots around and not expensive which is very convenient.

This was my fourth stay at the JR Clement, and I keep going back because it's always a good experience staying there! This time I booked a more spacious room, the deluxe double, which had a great view across the city to the mountains from both the bedroom and the bathroom, with the sea and cute island of Ozuchishima visible to the right. In the past, I've had lovely views of the port and castle from smaller rooms. I think all the rooms have views of some sort. The bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean and well-maintained. It was nice to have a larger space with a bigger desk, plus a small table and easy chairs by the window. There was a generous daily allocation of toiletries (in packets rather than bottles which was good) - loved the lavender bubble bath, and the Olive Energy products were excellent. The hotel provides a daily newspaper as well. The staff are always knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. I didn't eat in the restaurants (I think there are three), but don't miss the delicious cakes and pastries from the in-house bakery! The location is perfect, at Takamatsu Port two minutes from the JR Station, and across the road from Takamatsu Castle/Tamamo Park and Takamatsu-chikko Station. There is also a busy bus hub (including for airport buses) and taxi rank. Many shops and eateries close by. It's lovely to walk by the sea without having to travel to do it. Great sunsets! From the port you can catch ferries or fast boats to Naoshima, the other the art islands and Shodoshima. It's about a 2km walk to my favourite garden, Ritsurin Koen, or you can catch a train from Takamatsu-chikko. Already re-booked for this year!

- the room is small and typical of such chain hotel - located right in front of Takamatsu JR station - trams stops are a short walking distance away - convenience store also require small amount of walking - the room’s window “opened” to the wall of the next building (it’s so near you can touch it, just 10cm apart!) - overall not much issues but not a memorable place. Does it’s job as an overnight accommodation. - front desk ladies were polite but sterile
