JR Clement Hotel Takamatsu is conveniently located next to major transportation hub including subway station, bus station and ferry terminals to other scenery islands. It has many restaurants nearby. The rooms are very spacious. Staff are very helpful, patient and attentive to details. Pricing is very reasonable.

The location is located in the downtown area of Takamatsu, about ５ minutes walk from Kotoden Kawaramachi Station, there is a large shopping center nearby (next to the next), and there is a convenience store at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient. It is easy to understand if you use the red brick color appearance and the large cat object as a marker. There is no parking lot, and if you use a car, the parking lot of the adjacent shopping center (Marugame Town Green) is a affiliated P, so you will be asked to discount at check-in. The front desk, lounge and restaurant are on the ２ floor, and breakfast is served here. ３ The lower floors above the floor are the hotel floors. The upper floors are dormitories, and there seems to be a coin laundry in the middle. I used the twin on the hotel floor, but the room seems to have been renovated recently and the room is clean. The size is minimal, especially the unit bath is extremely narrow, so if you use each toilet, washbasin, and bath, you may be in danger of hitting your feet and head if you don't devise a little. Even if I was １７３ centimeters tall, I thought that my knees would stick to the wall when I sat down, and if a large foreign traveler used it, I would have a hard time. On the other hand, I was impressed with breakfast, and instead of the busy place that is often found in business hotels, the restaurant with a wide 々 and space has a rich buffet menu. In addition, each item was devised, and I was able to have a delicious and comfortable breakfast. The staff were young and kind. There is also a service to provide tea brewing for midnight snacks. I used the room of the new building. It is less than 々 away from Takamatsu station, and the bus seems to be not after the evening, so I went to the taxi. The room was very clean and the breakfast was very delicious. I was a little worried about the front desk from a little above, but I was very satisfied overall. The hotel is conveniently located in the busiest area of ​​Takamatsu. There are pedestrian streets and department stores next to it. The room is large but also very old. There is no way to adjust the air conditioning temperature. There is only heating in winter. There are not many choices for breakfast but it tastes very good. Highly recommended!

The hotel is right opposite Takamatsu Station and you can see it when you exit the station or get off the highway bus. The hotel has two buildings. Check-in is in Building 1. There are Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, so check-in is very convenient. The single rooms in the hotel are relatively spacious and clean. If you choose not to clean them, there will be a basket with replacement items at the door the next day. There is coffee and other drinks for self-service on the first floor. There are many restaurants and convenience stores around, and there is a large shopping mall next to Takamatsu Station, but please pay attention to the restaurant's business hours. It is very close to Takamatsu Port and Tamamo Park. If you get up early, you can go to the beach. If you want to go to Shodoshima and other islands, it is very convenient to stay in this hotel. There is a bus hub in front of Takamatsu Station, and there are many transportation options.

I liked the route inn, so I used it for a trip to Shikoku with a couple. It is still new and clean. The room is also comfortable as a wide 々. The public bath is not so large on the １ floor. The staff is very polite and helpful at home. When I asked if the parking lot was full at a late arrival, I said, ”it's okay. There are enough cars. If you don't have enough, you will get off the employee's car.” I was so happy. Breakfast is always satisfactory. One of the breakfasts in the route inn seems to have local products. The dining room staff is also kind and polite.

My husband and I chose the Uno Hotel because we wanted easy access to the art islands in the Seto Inland Sea. Hotel is a 3 or 4 minute easy walk to Uno Port which is the gateway to those islands. And ferry ride only about 15 minutes one-way. We expected the art islands to be great but this is a new hotel so we took a chance. Wow, what a wonderful experience on every level; the room, hotel team, restaurant, and the food was exceptional. The Uno Hotel is also within a 1 minute walk to a building which houses Onsen (hot springs baths and spa) and a Japanese restaurant, which they also own. (We did not have time to explore those but heard great things.) I could rave about the restaurant in the hotel called “Bluno” for days….we enjoyed breakfasts and dinners there - each superb with great attention-to-detail. A special treat was meeting restaurant manager Mr. Aran Teruo Pascual. He was kind, professional and personally makes one want to return in addition to the food and contemporary bright setting. The front desk team is warm, welcoming and attentive. When making a reservation I noticed there are multiple hotels or inns that have the name “Uno” in it so my suggestion is that you note that it is the Uno Hotel. I recommend higher floor on the water side, the hotel is not on the water, but lovely view. We look forward to returning.

This was my fourth stay at the JR Clement, and I keep going back because it's always a good experience staying there! This time I booked a more spacious room, the deluxe double, which had a great view across the city to the mountains from both the bedroom and the bathroom, with the sea and cute island of Ozuchishima visible to the right. In the past, I've had lovely views of the port and castle from smaller rooms. I think all the rooms have views of some sort. The bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean and well-maintained. It was nice to have a larger space with a bigger desk, plus a small table and easy chairs by the window. There was a generous daily allocation of toiletries (in packets rather than bottles which was good) - loved the lavender bubble bath, and the Olive Energy products were excellent. The hotel provides a daily newspaper as well. The staff are always knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. I didn't eat in the restaurants (I think there are three), but don't miss the delicious cakes and pastries from the in-house bakery! The location is perfect, at Takamatsu Port two minutes from the JR Station, and across the road from Takamatsu Castle/Tamamo Park and Takamatsu-chikko Station. There is also a busy bus hub (including for airport buses) and taxi rank. Many shops and eateries close by. It's lovely to walk by the sea without having to travel to do it. Great sunsets! From the port you can catch ferries or fast boats to Naoshima, the other the art islands and Shodoshima. It's about a 2km walk to my favourite garden, Ritsurin Koen, or you can catch a train from Takamatsu-chikko. Already re-booked for this year!
