A Delightful Stay at JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu
I recently had the pleasure of staying at JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. This hotel, conveniently located next to Takamatsu Station and offering breathtaking views of the Seto Inland Sea, combines comfort, luxury, and exceptional service in a way that makes it a top choice for both leisure and business travelers.
Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the hotel’s elegant exterior and welcoming atmosphere. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, handled by friendly and professional staff who made me feel right at home. Their ability to converse in multiple languages was a notable plus, especially for international visitors like myself.
The room I stayed in was nothing short of spectacular. Spacious, well-appointed, and featuring a contemporary design, it provided a perfect blend of functionality and comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights of the room was the panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea, which was especially stunning at sunrise and sunset. The room also included modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked minibar.
The hotel’s dining options are another aspect worth highlighting. I had the opportunity to dine at several of the on-site restaurants, and each meal was a culinary delight. The breakfast buffet at “The Dining” offered a wide variety of both Western and Japanese dishes, all of which were fresh and delicious. The sushi at “Seto,” the hotel’s Japanese restaurant, was some of the best I’ve ever had, prepared with the freshest ingredients and utmost care. The staff at the restaurants were attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall dining experience.
One of the standout features of JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu is its array of facilities. The fitness center is well-equipped and maintained, allowing guests to keep up with their workout routines. I also took advantage of the hotel’s spa services, which were incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The massage I received was one of the best I’ve experienced, leaving me feeling completely refreshed. Additionally, the hotel’s rooftop bar offers a spectacular view of the city and the sea, making it an ideal spot to unwind in the evening.
The hotel’s location is another significant advantage. Being adjacent to Takamatsu Station, it provides easy access to local transportation, making it convenient to explore the city and its surroundings. The nearby Ritsurin Garden, one of Japan’s most famous historical gardens, is a must-visit, and the hotel’s proximity to the ferry terminal makes it easy to take a day trip to the nearby islands of the Seto Inland Sea.
What truly sets JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu apart is the exceptional service provided by the staff. Every interaction I had with the hotel team was marked by warmth, professionalism, and a genuine desire to ensure my stay was perfect. They were always ready to assist with any request, providing helpful recommendations and making arrangements that enhanced my overall experience.
In conclusion, my stay at JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu was exceptional in every way. The combination of luxurious accommodations, outstanding dining, excellent facilities, and top-notch service makes this hotel a standout choice in Takamatsu. Whether you are visiting for business or leisure, I highly recommend JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu for an unforgettable stay. I look forward to my next visit and the opportunity to experience their hospitality once again.
I planned a trip to Shikoku for 3 nights and 4 days by car from Kyoto. The first day was Chelsea Breath, 2 From the day, I stayed at Naruto Ao Ao Resort in Tokushima Prefecture, one of my villas. Chelsea Breath was my first stay, and the first impression was elegant, but I couldn't feel the profound feeling of the building. There were many young couples in the lounge. The hotel is well cleaned and the garden is carefully cut and feels good. The building is lined with a wedding building in the north and a hotel building in the south. The idyllic countryside of the Sanuki Plain on the west side and the parking lot on the east side. [Guest rooms] The guest rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors are lined up east and west across the north-south corridors. I used a standard twin. The springs in the bed were soft and I slept lightly. (I can't sleep well) The windows in the guest rooms are locked and cannot be opened. (Fresh air does not enter) [Communal bath] Hot water does not overflow in the four men and women's baths. (Lack of cleanliness) There is no need to change men and women in the bathroom. (The view and specifications do not change) There is no sauna. [Dining room / lounge] You can see the countryside on the west side. For breakfast, rice is cooked according to the reservation time. The meal is fun with ingenuity. I'm happy to be able to drink beer at any time! [Parking lot] The large parking lot is on the east side of the hotel, and the sun shines in the morning. There is also a parking lot on the west side of the hotel, so it is recommended that you move your luggage to the west side of the hotel building after carrying your luggage into the guest room during the hot season.

The Hotel Genteel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Takamatsu will find that the Hotel Genteel is a fantastic accommodation choice. With JR Kokubu Station just 700m away and Takamatsu Airport only 15km away, transportation is very convenient. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Sanuki Kokubunji Temple, Sanuki Kokufu Ato and Jubuji Temple. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing.
Shopping around is very convenient, can cook by yourself is the highlight, but pay attention to the hotel check-in is in another place, walk for about three or four minutes, it will be better to ask before check-in.
Facilities: public bath, toilet and basin in the room to wash, bathroom downstairs on the first floor
Hygienic: The interior of the room is very clean, but it is inconvenient to take a bath
Environment: It is a bit difficult to find in a corner. The residential building is separated from the interior of the room. There is also a small bar inside. Similar to the bar and the front desk of the room, the door is opened, and the first floor and second floor of the room are available.
Service: The boss is a young man who communicates very well in Japanese and English, and communication is barrier-free
The hotel is actually a unit in the residential area, warmly furnished, well-equipped, and it feels like returning home every day. There is a large supermarket open until 12 pm nearby, and there are many restaurants to choose from.
The only problem I encountered was that I couldn't find the office to take the key at check-in, because neither google map nor gps could find the address. If you can change the password, it is more ideal for guests to check in by themselves.
We stayed with 10 people. I was a little worried about where to sleep, but while making full use of beds and sofa beds, there were enough rooms of about 4 rooms, so I was able to stay without problems.
I also had a BBQ for meals, but it was good not to borrow it in vain because there were BBQ stoves and charcoal fixtures, and I could rent it after seeing the things after arriving. If you are strong, there is little lighting at night BBQ outdoors, and only small ones that do not illuminate the area well unless you devise a free rental light, so have camp lanterns and high-legged lighting equipment. I think I should have done it.
Also, the location is very nice because it has an ocean view overlooking the Seto Inland Sea without obstacles. We recommend that you arrive early and start BBQ before the sun goes down.
Finally, it is a difficulty. It was a note in the accommodation information, but the road just in front of the facility is really narrow. There is only one width for one car. However, if you enter from the back road as instructed and guided well, you can enter in front of the entrance. I went with Hiace, which has a wide ceiling height, but it was quite good. But the eaves of the garage are low, so be careful of the car height! I didn't go under the roof.
Located on the 2nd floor, very close to the parking location and easy access. Close to one of the local tourist attractions, you can walk to it. The house is well separated, the room bedding is comfortable, and there is a washing machine for use.

GGuest UserGot free upgrade to the room with bath tube
The room size is larger than the normal Japanese hotel room with free snack at fridge. We didnt try the onsen at the top floor of the hotel, but did tried the ice cream which is for free.
The twin bed is good in size and comfortable.
It takes about 15-20 mins walk to Mitsukoshi, but pretty near the main shopping street.
Nothing to complaint
Bbow5072 mid-middle, 2 night 3 day Shikoku trip, 1 night I disturbed my wife. The location is located in the downtown area of Takamatsu, about 5 minutes walk from Kotoden Kawaramachi Station, there is a large shopping center nearby (next to the next), and there is a convenience store at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient. It is easy to understand if you use the red brick color appearance and the large cat object as a marker. There is no parking lot, and if you use a car, the parking lot of the adjacent shopping center (Marugame Town Green) is a affiliated P, so you will be asked to discount at check-in. The front desk, lounge and restaurant are on the 2 floor, and breakfast is served here. 3 The lower floors above the floor are the hotel floors. The upper floors are dormitories, and there seems to be a coin laundry in the middle. I used the twin on the hotel floor, but the room seems to have been renovated recently and the room is clean. The size is minimal, especially the unit bath is extremely narrow, so if you use each toilet, washbasin, and bath, you may be in danger of hitting your feet and head if you don't devise a little. Even if I was 173 centimeters tall, I thought that my knees would stick to the wall when I sat down, and if a large foreign traveler used it, I would have a hard time. On the other hand, I was impressed with breakfast, and instead of the busy place that is often found in business hotels, the restaurant with a wide 々 and space has a rich buffet menu. In addition, each item was devised, and I was able to have a delicious and comfortable breakfast. The staff were young and kind. There is also a service to provide tea brewing for midnight snacks. It would be a good hotel for young people, business use, and solo travel. Thank you for your help.
GGuest UserThis was my fourth stay at the JR Clement, and I keep going back because it's always a good experience staying there! This time I booked a more spacious room, the deluxe double, which had a great view across the city to the mountains from both the bedroom and the bathroom, with the sea and cute island of Ozuchishima visible to the right. In the past, I've had lovely views of the port and castle from smaller rooms. I think all the rooms have views of some sort. The bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean and well-maintained. It was nice to have a larger space with a bigger desk, plus a small table and easy chairs by the window. There was a generous daily allocation of toiletries (in packets rather than bottles which was good) - loved the lavender bubble bath, and the Olive Energy products were excellent. The hotel provides a daily newspaper as well. The staff are always knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. I didn't eat in the restaurants (I think there are three), but don't miss the delicious cakes and pastries from the in-house bakery! The location is perfect, at Takamatsu Port two minutes from the JR Station, and across the road from Takamatsu Castle/Tamamo Park and Takamatsu-chikko Station. There is also a busy bus hub (including for airport buses) and taxi rank. Many shops and eateries close by. It's lovely to walk by the sea without having to travel to do it. Great sunsets! From the port you can catch ferries or fast boats to Naoshima, the other the art islands and Shodoshima. It's about a 2km walk to my favourite garden, Ritsurin Koen, or you can catch a train from Takamatsu-chikko. Already re-booked for this year!
GGuest UserThis is a fairly large hotel in Shionoe Onsen. Stayed in the pet room on the first floor. Dogs are not allowed to walk outside the room, but there are plenty of pet supplies in the room. The guest room is a Japanese-Western style room with about 6 tatami mats and 2 beds. It was spacious enough. The food was pretty good for the price. It looked beautiful and I was satisfied with the quality. Soft drinks were free and paper cups were placed for takeout to the guest room. Above all, the staff was kind and fun, and I had a fun meal. Breakfast is buffet style. The number of items is also abundant. I had a great time at the inn in the mountains.
GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Takamatsu, and my experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of, making my stay in Takamatsu truly memorable. A highlight of my stay was their help in booking a rental car. They made the process seamless, overcoming any language barriers with their excellent English skills. This thoughtful assistance made my travel experience significantly more convenient and enjoyable.
YYi ChingThe hotel is not close to takamatsu station (15 walk) but is next to the bus stop connecting with airport. Hotel staff are helpful and nice.
Room is spacious. We stayed 3 nights. However, on the last day, both of us got stung by insects and we suspected there are fleas in the room. The stung marks can’t even be gone after 7 days.
CCoastal807687I used the room of the new building. It is less than 々 away from Takamatsu station, and the bus seems to be not after the evening, so I went to the taxi. The room was very clean and the breakfast was very delicious. I was a little worried about the front desk from a little above, but I was very satisfied overall. I would like to use it at the new building next time I visit Takamatsu.
DDK97The premises is at a convenient location, very close to the covered shopping avenue.
The lift access is good for suite case travellers.
The room is clean and spacious enough to accommodate 4 px.
One draw back was the lack of information on the need to check in through the Royal Park Hotel which is about 10 minutes walk from the premises. That was very frustrate to stay outside the lift lobby for an hour, before meeting a group of Japanese young men whom told us to check in through the hotel.
Apart from the troublesome check in experience, everything was fine.
DdaitauchoiPrice is good. Location is great, just 5 mins by foot to JR Takamatsu and the train station Takamatsu-Chicco. Staff is helpful and nice too.
However, the room is old and aging on the amenities. Dust is on the desk, on ceiling, and near the air-conditioner. Carpet looks not washed for quite some time.
Fortunately the bed is comfortable and I feel hygiene on it.
For someone who has high standard of hygiene, this hotel would not be an option for them.
PPatlungIt feels like a more general place to stay. Of course, the price is similar to the middle and lower price of . The boss is still polite. There is a simple rest equipment, no TV, there is a Co***n area to eat, There are Japanese comics I can see, there are different restaurants and convenience stores nearby, The traffic is quite convenient. Especially remember the lights and fans in the room.
